Double header may have been a good idea. Official site says Caragh v TMH is at 3pm and I was told last night it would be in Sarsfields. However this mornings email on fixtures says Naas (to be confirmed) for 6pm.

| I cant see anyone beating TMH now. You have to consider that they beat a strong Clogherinkoe side with only 14 men for most of the game. Thats the same Clogherinkoe team that destroyed Caragh in the league final just a couple of weeks ago. TMH are a big, strong, fit team who keep playing til the very end. They also have two of the best young players in the county in Peter Kelly and Aidan Casey. As impressive as the likes of Caragh and Castlemitchell have been to date, they're just not inthe same class as TMH. I can see them winning this championship comfortably now having gotten through a tricky quarter final. It would be a major shock if they didnt prevail! | |

| two mile house have already lost a game in the championship this year to castlemitchell and could lose another this weekend.Clogherinkoe are a decent team but Castlemitchell beat that same "strong" Clogherinkoe team last week by 5 or 6 points.Clogherinkoe aren't great and have aging players. Caragh breezed through division 3 this year and had an off day against Clogherinkoe that day. Caragh will be a much bigger test than Clogherinkoe and anyone looking for a bit of value over the weekend betting wise should stick a few pound on Caragh. Dan Campbell top scorer in the championship, can any of the house players stop him? Austin Nevin and the Morans. It will be a good game. at the moment Caragh and Castlemitchell are in the same class as two mile house, its actually called Junior Football Championship. people are forgetting about robertstown also. they tipping along there, i dont think castlemitchell will even beat them. | |

Was wondering who'd be first to spot this. Should have guessed ..... nothing gets by fone. Perhaps he's being groomed for the final. A sure sign that you won't be doing the final is if you get one of the semi-finals.

No rule that says you can't do two years running. Didn't Mick Monahan do two if not three years in a row at one stage ?

| Robertstown beat Cappagh this evening by 0 - 11 to 0 - 8. They had led 0 - 6 to 0 - 1 at half-time but Cappagh dominated the second half getting it back to one point, before Robertstown kicked two points to run out the winners. They play Castlemitchell on Saturday in Moorefield at 4pm. | |

| i think TMH will be hard to stop now. not just because they beat us but they do have a physically strong team that can move pretty quick. niall browne is a good carrier of the ball and there decent in most positions. to me caragh are going well but lacking something around the middle. c/mitchell might be an outside bet but the night we played them we were genuinely 4-5 short of srong players. maybe they were too? the fact that TMH were in last years final and came so close i think will be the big factor. they say you must loose one before you win one. i dont see r/town being much of a problem especially with leeson gone but they are a c/ship team and have bein knockin around semi finals and finals for a few years too. | |

| who done the scoring for robertstown with leeson missing and one or 2 others missing? sounds like a poor enough game. twomilehouse are favourites due to them being beaten finalists last year, but on form no one can deny caragh are the form team. they have wiped the floor with everyone they met this year. there match on saturday should be a huge battle and whoever wins will be favourites for the final.

| I think caragh will win this one but whoever wins it should win the final.
from main site:
JFC Preview Junior Football Championship Preview by Ronan Flanagan
With all the other championships run off very well so far the Junior championship had to throw up a slight bit of mischief as Robertsown’s last minute free against Cappagh at the weekend ensured the only replay of the last eight in any of the competitions.
The Blues made no mistake second time out and ran away three point winners over their opponents to book their place in the last four. After what was seemingly going to be a poor year for them has picked up. This leaves the semi-finals as follows:
Caragh v Two Mile House
Certainly on paper this is the toughest tie of the semis as the two favourites for the title face off. Caragh have been a surprise package but are here on merit and have been playing great football all year while Two Mile House have been fancied from the off.
Caragh are a very sharp mobile team and with Austin Nevin stroking over any placed ball within 40 yards the House will have to be very disciplined at the back to ensure he does not get much shooting practice. They are also very fluid in attack, moving the ball well.
Two Mile House have been the team touted all year and after one or two blips are showing their quality. They have plenty of power down their spine with the likes of Niall Browne and Peter Kelly while up front Aidan Casey takes stopping. These men and their team mates should put an end to a hugely progressive year for Caragh.
VERDICT: Two Mile House
Castlemitchell v Robertstown
Castlemitchell were on much longer odds at the start of the campaign but marched through the group stage unbeaten and looked impressive. Robertstown made it a bit more difficult for themselves but would have been expected to be in the mix anyway.
Robertstown are one those outfits whose name is always thrown into the mix when potential champions are mentioned, but this year they are not as potent as usual. Joe Kavanagh’s knee will still need more time to ensure he gets back to his explosive self and they are looking for some new blood elsewhere. Still they will always pose a threat.
For year’s Tadgh Fennin has carried the torch for Castlemitchell and this year is no different. One of the county’s all time fan favourites is still a class act and now has another string to his bow. Now a Leinster GAA coach he obviously is putting his expertise to good use and his men are now a well-drilled unit. Unless Robertstown really come good they will face the chop.
VERDICT: Castlemitchell

| Dobbyn, didnt he win the Junior with Grange a few years back, managed TMH I think as well couple of years ago. Maybe Castlemitchel could be the dark horses so. | |

| For me TMH are favourites, though the favourites tag is weighing heavy on them and Junior is notoriously difficult for favourites. They should be too strong for Caragh who are flattered by their position at the top of the table due to big scores against struggling ardlough & rheban sides, an undeperforming roberstown in round 1 and a grange team who were already out. They were particularly poor in the league final and I am not convinced. They may prove me wrong.
On the other side Robertstown should not have to play their 3rd game in a week imo. After two very tough games against an improving cappagh team, i think its a tough ask, particularly with some players obviously carrying injuries. Castlemitchell may win through in the circumstances after a battle.

| talking to a cappagh man there this even he said robertstown are lucky to be even in the semi final. ref last sunday played 6 or 7 minutes injury time and it was in the 7th minute they got their score. going by that they shouldnt complain about another match this year at all. They were happy enough to push robertstown to the replay, disappointed not to reach semi though. | |

| i was at the two games with cappagh and rtown and the 7 minutes of stoppage time were just alot of cappagh players pulled up with injury and cramp in the last 10 minutes so the ref was right to add on the time he did so there was no luck about it they are lcky in a sense that cappagh were the better team the first day and deserved to win but still that doesnt justify 3 games in six days | |
