You could almost read the script before the draw was made that Moorefield would draw Allenwood with Moorefields famous son trying to plot their downfall with his improving outfit.

I see our neighbours continue to lead a charmed life as regards the draw.

That looks like the most contrived draw I have ever seen..I know that the County Board needs money but come on.

I can see where your coming from Tom it looks like its going to be an Athy,Moores,Larries and Sash semi final line up.

I imagine there were plenty of people present at the draw however.

I see there was a post on the "official forum" that due to unforeseen circumstances that the draw would not be live on KFM, then all of a sudden it was live on KFM.
Seems strange to me.

as someone who has witnessed all the draws, they are done to the letter of the law....

walsheman, the senior relegation semis will take place the weekend of Oct 3, i believe... if you were asking about the Intermediate.....

Unfortunately i believe Clane will struggle to maintain their Senior status. I know they're missing a lot of players and this is half the reason why.

It'll be a sad day if they do go down. Very historic club who i'd love to see remain in Senior!

Other clubs have had players coming through to replace them though. Clane haven't really done anything at underage for a while - same goes for Towers.

Danny Egan and possibly Robbie Eyres are their only young players I can see representing Kildare in the future. Behan looked like he had a good future ahead of him a few years ago but he hasn't really fulfilled his potential for whatever reason.

How is Eoin Naughton playing these days? Was called into the senior panel a few years ago if I remember correctly.
