| As far as I know Kelly didn't get one, Bolton did and I haven't heard about Doyle but I assume he got one. | |

| Is it not like the all stars where the Hurling team comes out early in the week and the football team not announced until the awards night. I didnt see any football team picked anywhere yet? | |

| 1 Brendan McVeigh (Down) 2 Charlie Harrison (Sligo) 3 Michael Shields (Cork) 4 Philly McMahon (Dublin) 5 Kevin McKernan (Down) 6 Emmet Bolton (Kildare) 7 Paudie Kissane (Cork) 8 Paddy Keenan (Louth) 9 John Galvin (Limerick) 10 Daniel Hughes (Down) 11 Martin Clarke (Down) 12 John Doyle (Kildare) 13 Daniel Goulding (Cork) 14 Benny Coulter (Down) 15 Bernard Brogan (Dublin)
Great to see Bolton getting on there, Doyle must have been seen as a cert for this anyways. Pity that Peter Kelly missed out, McMahon had a decent enough year for the Dubs and Harrison played well against Galway and Mayo, but I would have Kelly in there just ahead of either of them.
Could be a case made for Kavanagh to be there too but he was nominated for the number 15 spot with Brogan so would have always been a long shot for that. If he was up against Goulding at 13 then he could have been in with a serious shout though.
Happy that Galvin has been recognised this year, engine of the Limerick team and played out of his skin against Kerry and Cork earlier in the season.

| Congratulations to Emmett Bolton and the great one on their GPA awards. Looks like the Blues had their presentation night to the great one a week or two too early. Best of luck to the blues legend David Burke who is marrying a Lark tomorrow.Should be a great weekend | |

| A lark marring a Blue I think they might need a good boxing ref at this one ha. Did David Burke get the man of the match the year Allenwood won the final think he scored a few points that day? Well done to both Johnny and Emmet on ther GPA awards hopefully more to come in the next few years. | |

He did, he only started cos Jason Judge was playing with Na Fianna in the minor final, he was captain. He had been very good for Allenwood in semi-final but it was minor first, so Burkie got in and kicked a few points in the first half, three or four and in a low scoring game, twas the difference
