Did both teams not finish on level score difference? Which puts the winners of the direct clash (Sarsfields) through, doesn't it?

looking at the results from all the matches before they played on sat, both teams scored 30 points sash conceded 18 and moores conceded 16.sash won by 1 point on sat so this means the moores go through on score difference

Yes but if one team improves their SD by one, the other team's reduces by one too, so they both the same. That's when the head-to-head comes into play...

Firstly, Take a look at the Results/Tables Sticky. I've posted the completed tables as per the County Board website. This placed Sarsfields in 1st for that group. I've also just received the fixtures via email for the coming week and it is Sarsfields v Milltown next weekend in the semi final. I don't post anything here regarding fixtures or results until it appears on the County Board website or via email to ensure this type of mistake isn't my making. As regarding the Leinster Leader, I've given up on it regarding the Club scene in Kildare. Apart from T. Callaghan's column which I do enjoy, your lucky if you get a page or two with a few reports.

I heard last night that both clubs were agreeable to playing it on Monday but if CB won't allow it, then will probably go ahead Saturday at 4.15

Proposed Reserve Football League Format for 2012
The following leagues are the proposed Reserve League format for 2012. These are planned to replace Divisions 4,5,6 and 7 seen in previous years. This new format is proposed and it is to be discussed at the county board meeting on March 13th. The new format groups teams into North and South divisions to reduce traveling time to match.

In all Divisions, the top 2 teams will qualify for league final.
Promotion
If Second Team wins Div 4 North and Div 4 South they will be promoted to Div 3A
Top 2 teams in Div 5 North and Div 5 South will be promoted to Div 4 North and Div 4 South

Relegation
Bottom 2 teams in Div 4 North and Div 4 South will be relegated to Div 5 North and Div 5 South

Can anyone explain why If the new division 3A is for the second team of all senior clubs, why are Round Towers second team in Division 4 South.

The actual fixtures must be on the website now because they've changed from the last time I read them.

Division 3A is optional. Clubs can opt to be in it but it's not compulsory
