[img][/img] Because I was only 4 in 1998 I have little or no memory of how great that time was.I remember 2000 well enough, but I was still not old enough to fully understand at the time the brilliance of it all. The oul lad reckons that the day we beat meath in 2010 was similar to the feeling he had in 98, (but not the same obviously), but for me it was one of the best days ever watching Kildare, and one of the best days I had in croker. Never forget dancing on the hill, and Id say theres a few on here who are in that picture !!

This is a great thread. Had never seen that 1987 footage before so thanks very much for that. Love the picture of Geraghty standing with the Kildare team: Sos looks like he's ready to go through a brick wall! What a player he was.

Was at that match, we hammered them and I think Padraig Gravin even scored a good bit from play that day. The fact that it was Parkinson makes it better.
