I reckon confey will beat st laurences in the champship they have a very good team and should not be underestimated

Not another word about the alleged incident that took place in the Athy/Confey game.

The player was issued 2 yellow cards and until there is other disciplinary action taken.

That's end of discussion.

The Cloughs gave Clane a Walkover for this fixture as far as I know.

taibi we are down a few alright with both injuries and county but we have a good group and felt we had a good enough team to win it. it may be the kick up the arse they needed before the important part of the year.

Sash v Clane was never played, I believe Clane had a big weekend planned to do with the gathering that is going on to bring people back to Ireland this year last weekend.

they were missing the 2 county minors and peter Kelly but the mitchells were missing brendan harris and mark fennelly and emmet hyland played full forward cause he carrying an injury, was a cracking game very close all the way

I know there's a bit to go but Maynooth, Leixlip and Celbridge in the bottom 4 .... WTF is going on? The football is brutal in North Kildare. And then we have Clane being hammered by Kevins. Fair dues and all that and taking into consideration county commitments and lads going away for the Summer but there has been some drop in standards. Maybe it's just me, and please correct me if I'm wrong, but the outlook looks bleak for NK. The Championship, I believe , will show no better.

thats bull, im sick of hearing lads making excuses saying we were missing 8 lads due to emigration, did they play 7 against 15 so? celbridge have 5 or 6 on the senior panel, they will be serious contenders come championship. most teams are capable of beating each other. the usual suspects will be there come the semis but it wouldnt surprise me at all if an outsider won the championship. as for your argument take a look at confey, they are flying....

He left out Carbury, JohnstownBridge etc. who are also North Kildare !!! And on that matter, as regards these teams being at the bottom, sure we (Leixlip) are no good anyway!

Sarsfields 2-09 v 3-15 Confey. Sarsfields led 2-05 v 1-06 at half time with a strong wind advantage. Confey dominated the second half and deserved the 9 point margin.
