| Unclear if pushed or walked, but assured he had crisis discussions with county board last night, didn't go well as board pointed to results, he had issues with their support for his plan and it'll be announced later in the day. Bryan Murphy over team for Galway game, not sure of further details yet. I'll post more details as I hear, few calls to make first. | |

| Seems he may have walked, they were hinting that his performance meant this year was it, he was adamant he wouldn't work under such conditions and there was row over implementation of a longer-term plan. Can't confirm that bit but semantics versus the bigger news. Personally for all my doubts, not sure time was right. | |

| Is this true? I find it hard that a county board would get rid of a manager with one game left and a hugely important one at that. | |
