| Is this an elected position or is it a case as sure we'll get someone to do it. | |

| Clubs nominate but the person will be selected by the current county board, as per a new rule passed in Congress a few weeks ago. So there are no votes from clubs as there would be with a regular election. | |

Eh, that new rule still requires a ballot by the county board which is made up of the officers and club delegates, so the clubs will still have a vote through their delegates, same as they would if it was a special convention.

| This position has been a disgrace for a long time. No offence to Henry. You cannot do multiple jobs. This needs to be done by someone who has the time and is not involved in other jobs.

Apologies if I was wrong however that was said by someone already involved with the county board after the match on Sunday. Will be interesting to see how it goes.

So correct but dont forget that the County Board is: The member from each of the 44 clubs & the County Officers (15 apprx) so not only do the clubs have a vote but the clubs have a massive majority.....

Agree although I don't know the man. We are just light years behind other counties. I don't know if you've all noticed the nice advertising pictures the GAA have brought out for each league game - really colourful banners of the two competing counties.. The Kildare GAA Twitter account had to be embarrassed into using it for the first league game whereas most other counties used it from the get go. Embarrassing stuff. Don't mention the website..

| She does a great job for Moorefield, it has to be said. Her presence on social media is very good and you always see a report on Moorefield's games in the local paper every single week.
Best of luck to her.
There's a few others like Gillian Murphy of Ballymore and Shauna Mackey of Athy(?) who provide serious information online for little or no thanks. Supporters would be lost without these people.
