On the wikipedia page for "leinster football championship" they have the score down as Dublin 1-20 Kildare 0-9 which is a 14 point margin but you're right they gave them the goal instead of us.

if the league and championship aren't to be amalgamated into some new competition, then how do we keep the provincials relevant?
could they be run on a round robin basis?
split leinster into A and B; same with ulster connacht and munster no need to split.
it would mean counties get games and reintroduces jeopardy. winners into all-ireland semi.
the present format is a disaster. provincials essentially meaningless; lack of jeopardy in the all-ireland group stage.

Good idea but would Dublin be A and the rest are B ? They should start by making tbe cnuts play away from Croke Park for alll bar final and msybe even final if big crowd not expected.

What we should do is try and get them to a neutral venue like Nowlan Park or somewhere. That would make all the difference.

Last time I checked, Kilkenny were not in the Leinster football championship. Away would be Newbridge for us.

Longford, Laois, Meath, Westmeath, Offaly etc etc all get home games in the Leinster championship and with it being something like 30 years since we had our last SFC game in Newbridge, we have to be granted one next year with the new Conleth's open. Shouldn't even be up for question.

They should be made play away from Croker, absolutely. it could be the start of leinster being competitive again, which we all miss.

A lot of supporters have paid big money for 10 year season tickets for Croke Park based on the promise that these matches would be played there.
