| Well lads and ladies,
How's this one going to go ????
Caragh have had a geat year. They'd really like to finish it off with the Championship.... Robertstown have been there or there abouts for the last few years.... Would love to see Joe Kavanagh get a medal... Players like that deserve a championship medal in fairness....
I think Caragh just might shade it. Hopefully it will be a good game...

| Would like to see Robertstown finally win it but i think caragh will do it by 3 or 4.
Theres a lot of older lads on both teams who deserve a medal so be happy enough that way whoever wins but i think caragh are an up and coming team while robtown are on there last chance.....again.

| You have to give credit to Robertstown. You said supersub. Las chance... again... Every year I've said they're gone, they won't win it this year and they haven't but they're always there or thereabouts. Considering the pick they have, it's phenomenal. No-one would begrudge them the win (bar Caragh and Naas maybe....) | |

| i think it'll be close one of the games of the year hopefully caragh are a good side and could shade it but a derby you never know... i think rtown deserve it a bit more with most that them already losing 3 finals but really whoever does it on the day really deserves it...ha ha ogie i think that thing with naas was a once off i hope theres any bad blood there...and did anyone notice the lack of coverage in the local papers they surely could of did up a preview for the weekend and the final they usually do | |

| Think Rob'town will win as Caragh (despite having a good year) aren't that good. It won't be a good game either but as long as Joe Kavanagh brings some sort of form Rob'town will win. Caragh will try to slow the game up no end so the ref will have a big say in this one. If he is whistle happy it will play into Caraghs hands as they have excellant freetakers but if it is any way open Rob'town will have a goal fest!
The papers are a bit of a disgrace as the Leader only gave the intermediate final half a page in last weeks edition and it was a better game than the senior one which got about 6 pages of a preview!

| dunno what caragh team you have been watching this year oracle but the one i seen move the ball fast and are deadly up front they are stronger fitter and should win this one with ease for me robertstown play a sweeper and they will need it to stop campbell they crowd the middle and rely on there corner forward and half forwards to track for there unfit midfield, healy should be a match for kavanagh and joe wont have the support up front he will need on saturday il predict caragh by 5 | |

| Haha opening a can of worms with the mention of naas, robertstown done absolutely nothing wrong that day only play hard and naas were afraid of them. As for the game I think caragh have a bit too much but robertstown are due one. Healy a match for kavanagh!?!?!? Will be a very tight affair and goals mite just be the difference | |

| It will be a great tussle.... Damien Leeson is a big loss for Robertstown. He has played really well all year. | |

| I'm going for Caragh. Robertstown rely a lot on Joe Kavanagh and if he is shut down, they can struggle. Caragh also have a better midfield. | |

| That was the worst game of football iv ever seen, the junior finals are usually good games but that was painful to watch. Not one decent move strung together in the whole game. | |

| Poor game. Robertstown seem destined never to win Junior. However, when you don't score from play for the whole game you don't deserve to win. | |

| If you ever see a cracking game with Fergal Barry reffing, it's a friggin' miracle. The man is determined to be the centre of attention every time he refs a game. All you need to play a game he refs is two good freetakers because that's what it will come down to.
It was a brutal game, not helped by the bad conditions and the long delay for the injury.
Caragh were the better team and deserved their win although the Intermediate teams won't be shaking at the thoughts of playing them next year (not that they care about that tonight).
As for Robertstown, no score from play tells its own story. Until they develop a decent midfield, they will never win a Junior A. They can't rely on Joe Kavanagh doing his superhero act in every single game. He can't win a championship on his own.

| have to say i`m delighted caragh won i hate the way robertstown line out with 2 centrebacks its so negative and leads to poor games and only when they brought mickey moran on and took the second centreback off they started to play. kevin dempsey was excellent hope he got man of the match did they present a man of the match award? agree about the comments about fergal barry always has to be centre of attention he done a terrible job, along with the driver of the ambulance it wasn`t a 40foot he was driving | |

| was at this match yesterday and the man of the match must go to FERGAL BARRY, what a show stopping performance he had, he didnt play all the added time, the caragh injury that need the ambulane too exatly 18 minutes , he then added this to the 3 remaining minutes left in that half and came up with 8 minutes remining in first half, also in the second half when the caragh team were starting to panic as robertstown were coming into the game the caragh players started to fall to the ground to waste time (5 players needed attention within 5 minutes yet fergal added 2 minutes , much to Mr Dunneys delight as he stood on the steps of the club house. caragh scored 6 of their 8 points from frees, and robertstown 1-2 from frees and penalty, sure sigh of a FREE flowing game, its about time the county boards take stock of the muppets they have as referees. so I say GIVE RESPECT AND YOU GET RESPECT, SORRY MR BARRY NOT THIS TIME. | |

| Anyone know what the attendance was?, everytime I went outside for a cigarette,[ yes I was having a few pints saturday afternoon watching the nags] a load of Robertstown cars would pass me by with their blue and white car flags, seemed to have passionate support anyway.
€15 for a junior A final a bit steep don't you think?, €10 euro into portlaoise for a cracking Leinster Club game, ah but our good old county board as they always like to remind us and point out as some sort of justification for their extortion policy, there was two games don't forget! you had a minor curtain raiser to the Junior A final. wow!!! and la la to you too!
