| Oh god are ya serious? For me he's probably the most important player we needed to have right for Sunday as midfield is where we struggle most since Earley is out. Who'll be in the middle now? Lynch and Doyle? or Brophy? Sweeney? O'Connor? | |

| Talking to his uncle today, no broken bones showed up in x-rays, went for an MRI and he has bad ligament damage in his ankle, out for 3/4 weeks all going well. what have we done to deserve such bad luck with injuries in kildare in the last number of years......... | |

| Well this is going to make game a lot easier for Wicklow. I would go Sweeney/Lynch midfield. | |

| Could well get cleaned out in midfield Sunday. We just don't have the players to replace the losses suffered in midfield. Unless Flynn gets back to full fitness asap we can book early holidays this year. | |

| Don't be ridiculous derfil. It's a little early to be throwing the towel in. There are plenty of more than capable lads that can step in and do a job. Lynch, Sweeney, o'connor, Kelly and Doyle. Albeit I don't like the thought of JD anywhere but the full forward line. Have a little faith in these men!!! | |

| I would try Chalky midfield, has been very good for Sarsfields there over the last couple of years, has covered the loss of Dermot from the team as well as anybody possibly could have done. | |

| Tomás O'Connor in for Flynn with JD going to centre-field. James Kavanagh has been dropped with Alan Smith coming in for him.
It is also expected that Morgan O'Flaherty will back in the half-back-line with Flanagan in the half-forwards.

| Rumoured that Philly McMahon is out for Dublin.
JD will be fine. It would be all over the radio and papers if his injury was serious. Hard to see Flynn starting. He'd want to have been back training last week really given that he's been out of football for a good while and the match is only a fortnight away now. If we could get 10-15 minutes from him it would be great but I suspect it's unlikely.
