| The round 4 draw didn't go ahead for some reason. I think it said on KFM the draw for that will be done on the 28th. | |

| Don't see a problem once its not conleths or hawkfield. That may be a bit unfair but club grounds to me is game ball. | |

| As we prepare to face into the 3rd of the championship does anyone think that there will be any surprise packages to make it to the latter stages of the various grades?
Are Moorefield under pressure after there defeat by Carbury?
Will anyone apart from the Div 1 sides win the intermediate and finally who will win the Junior champ?

| Moorefield are not under the slighest pressure. They will win their next 2 games and easily make quarters. Its between moorefield and sarsfield to win it out again with carbury an outside bet.
The intermediate is not as clearcut with a good few of teams who could win it.Jtb would be my favourites but ive said that before.I like the look of them this year though.Eadestown might be your outside bet to do well, maybe semis but cant see them winning outright.
Robertstown should finally win the junior, they seem to have enough to get over the line this year.TMH the only ones who may push them.Clougherinkoe outsiders.

| Having read the Nationalist this week, it was like buying a newspaper in December. 18 Championship matches at the weekend between Senior, intermediate and Junior and not a mention or build up to any of the games.
Not to mention Minor championship also. I can't even remember if they printed the tables. Don't think they did, only for the reserve?!?
Nothing short of shameful on part of the Nationalist to be honest. |

| That's the problem when the "Local" papers aren't local anymore. More like buying an advertising sheet. Bring back the old Leader. | |

Have to agree , they once had great coverage of all things Kildare Gaa Clubwise , now they dont give a rats , its a shame , it would help promote the game to the younger generation and keep the older generation who may not be able to get down to keep in touch with their clubs and see and read about their local club stars and county star within these clubs , by way of interviews and photo coverage , Thank God there are some fine gents on the county team who go around club to club for awards nights , functions , and fund raising events , its these people who keep the supporters happy and give them the hunger , i must say alot of clubs have very good websites run by very dedicated club people who do trojan work behind closed doors , but i think the local papers have to honour a commitment to Gaa coverage in the same dedicated and dilligent way they do with reporting all events in the county's soccer clubs !! Giving the same venom that is afforded to them in weekly paper coverage.

| I was very unimpressed by the complete lack of coverage in both papers as well, nothing short of disgraceful. | |

| I must agree with topcat, I bought the leader looking forward to reading the match previews. I flicked through the paper a few times looking for the previews and eventually found a small little section which was a disgrace with some games not even mentioned !!!
I know there is probably some staff on holidays this time of year but surely any proffesional set up would have some else write the previews !!!
