U/21 A and B Football Championship

1-12 to 1-10 level at half time, I only caught the 2nd half on kfm

its was 1-7 each at halftime celbridge leaded 1 - 7 to 0 -2 after 21 mins

I have to say well done to Castledermot, I for one wrote them off I heard they played some great football to come from 7 points down and draw level takes guts determination and self belief . This proves that castledermot are an up and coming team .

Congrats to Celbridge, but the Lads from Castledermot can carry their heads high and be very proud of their efforts.

what a game,a credit to both clubs for the way the game was played..not one bad tackle or incident to talk about...... celbridge just shaded it...... if castledermot keep progressing they will have a great team in a few years !!!

Castledermot had their chances, missed good goal chance in second half, however they got a lucky enough goal in the first half when Celbridge keeper dropped high ball into net, Celbridge also missed good goal chance themselves. Celbridge had excellent performances from Gerry Keegan & Conor Kenny & Paddy Brophy. Overall they were slightly the better side.

Leixlip won the shield final. Good 2nd half fightback and a great point by moolick to win it.

Young Murphy was very good for Clane in the first half.

Well done to Leixlip on a great win, good to see Tommy Moolick get the winner has the ability to be a great player for Kildare hopefully he can push himself back into the senior panel

Delighted for Tommy it will only do him good and I agree with your point Square Ball hopefully in the future he has more time on the County team. Its great for the lads to have even a shield title, considering all the effort they put in all year. Well done Boys, Up Leixlip!

Went to the match clane 8 points up at half time. It was a cracker of a match. Murphy kicked a beaut of a point toasted the end of the match. Then Moolick with an absolute belter

Great win for Leixlip.
I thought Clane got some soft frees in the first half. Both goals were scrappy.
Leixlip dominated the middle, not much clean won but they picked up a lot of dirty breaks.
Clane couldn't handle Leixlips running game. They conceded too many frees in scorable positions.
Leixlips fitness and power shown through. Had it went to extra time, it was only going to be Leixlip winning. Moolick was getting some rough treatment, great to see him getting the winner.

Yes made up as it was his fault for first goal. Two young teams out there clanes running game was effective too but may around 60 yards in they should of hit Murphy a more often. Great game from both teams
