| Three games in a week at the start of January will get rid of the Turkey fairly quickly. Great for supporters though who have football withdrawal symptoms. | |

| Two games in Conleth's and one in Hawkfield I'm led to believe. Very minor gripe and not a big deal at all, but would be nice if they moved them about. Carbury, Athy under lights and Naas or something different like that, probably increase crowds too out of local curiosity. | |

| Good idea there TommyK but
In January they will and should stick with venues which have covered spectator areas like in Athy, Hawkfield & St Conleth's. ( or others like Clane etc)
The Gate could suffer badly if in a venue with no shelter on a wet cold January day and the Gate is for Players Injury Fund.

| Fair point. Even Athy, Towers and Clane in that case... | |

| The stand in hawkfield is not very large, sure you would only get a couple of hundred at the most into it. | |

| Athy definatley would have a perfect capacity sure wasnt it one of the former county grounds in the not too distant past? Either that or leixlip will host them, sure we have a fine stand! | |

| Might as well play in Croker as Leixlip, sure it's practically a suburb of Dublin. | |

Now now be careful! We are very proud Kildare people up here in leixlip. In fact Leixlip is one of the oldest if not the oldest place or settlement in County Kildare. Also when we won back in 1928, Sam was carried across the river Liffey into Leixlip, because it signalled that they had entered Kildare once they entered leixlip.

| Fixtures don't exactly get the blood boiling although Wexford game has some added spice if the Jason Ryan rumour from the other thread has legs | |

Lights still not on , if a night fixture , during the day would be ok , the pitch still has a good surface around this time of year , and the fair size stand of a O' Byrne fixture in Janurary

| I love the O'Byrne cup. New year, football back, wrap up well, new faces and no pressure. This year even more as it's compacted with a night game. | |
