The groups and fixyures for the 2022 O'Byrne Cup announced today. Kildare are in the 3-county Group C with Westmeath and Carlow.
Other groups are Group A Longford/Louth/Offaly/Dublin Group B Wicklow/Meath/Wexford/Laois
Kildare's fixtures Home to Westmeath on Saturday 8th January @2pm Away to Carlow on Wednesday 12th January @7.30pm
Westmeath play Carlow Saturday 15th
Football season is only 44 days away!

Kildare second match in o Bryne cup in Carlow centre of excellence in Fenagh has no stand there and as open as curragh

The close contacts side of things will be near impossible to dodge for teams. Look at the amount of panels with teachers who are back in school now too...

Will be interesting to see what team he puts out and how they setup. You'd imagine he'll be giving lads a chance tomorrow but I wonder have they had time to develop a style of play - Will we find out more about Glenn's philosophy I wonder???

There isn't too much time to experiment and you look at the team Kerry put out too in the McGrath Cup. I know it's the first game and you want to see who is there, but it's a very tight turnaround.
