Know this is mainly for senior results but I just want to comment on the Sash v Carbury u/14 semi final this morning which was one of the best games I have been at in a long time and I just want to compliment both sets of players and mentors for the way in which the played football. The final score was Sash 5.10 Carbury 4.09.

Sounds like a cracker. Those underage games can give connections heart failure with goals flying in all over the place.

Was at the game and it was a cracker. We are disappointed to lose as we rate this team so highly but the best team won on the day. Our goalkeeper was carrying an injury and we lost our centre back early on but we had problems dealing with your no 14 all throughout the game. I would say that there were a good few future lillies on view in this game from Carbury and Sarsfields. Best of luck in the final.

Athyman, both teams were at it, and i believe the only team with a player sent off for Boxing was Athy.

Tell that to one of our players who had to go off with a fractured jaw after been hit on the blindside by your 7 who I believe has previous issues and is no stranger to the red card. It is a shame as the moores are a good team they do not have to resort to what happened today, we will leave it at that good luck in the champship

Not a dirty team? I think there's a young guy up in Leixlip who suffered a broken jaw from a cowardly blow dealt by one of your idols. Chalky Whyte might beg to differ also.

Tommy Moo put in a great performance against Clane. Probably the best way to get a defeat like that out of your system is to go back and get another game straight away.

If they did I would not condone it, I like hard tough matches with good physical play but within the rules of the game, I do not like to see cynical hitting off the ball irregardless of who does it, we must stamp out deliberate targeting of players.

Theres no IF. Your club has been involved in at least 2 of these incidents over the last couple of years. The last one resulted in a young guy from Leixlip being hospitalised with a serious jaw injury.

Theres nobody condoning it, but theres no point coming here whinging about it when your own lot are just as bad.

Sarsfields last gasp win over Moorefield this afternoon sounded like a right cracker.
