Reading in Nationalist tonight that there will be semi finals in league again this year, anyone know if this is the case?

Cheers Athyman..........I'll tell you how well we're going next Oct / Nov when the Intermediate championship is over!! Yes Keith is supposed to be back with seniors although thankfully he was able to play with us in the league last Sunday!

I have watched Keith since he was young an excellent player. You should have no probs in the intermediate champship I fancy ye to win it this year

It's hard to believe that moorefield bs arguably the best second team ever in this this county were absolutely hammered off the park by athys second team this week. It doesn't seem long ago that they relegated grange down to division 3 where a senior team suncroft were playing to get back up to division 2. Its also worth recalling that the same year sarsfields b were coming out of division 4 and still won the senior reserve championship beating moorefield in what was reported to be one of the games of the year. Is that result indicative of a decline in Moorefield and what are the reasons for it, is it immigration, less interest,less talent or a combination.

U always get strange results in sen b league depending on what players clubs have available, Sash beat Athy by 8 goals the week before and then from what u say Athy thrashed Moores so it is very hard to read anything into results in that league.

Ye heard today, 2 players sent off for double yellows, hardly noteworthy, doubt Highie or the Confey player were the only players in the county sent off for 2 yellow last weekend.

No comment on the incidents, Hughie plays on the edge all of the time but he also gets some abuse from defenders

Confey on a good streak of wins since championship, Confey deserved win. however, paddy moore lost control of the game many times.

Careful now, 2 players sent off for 2 yellows lets leave it at that. Rumors of biting don't need to be aired on fourms.
If anything of that nature accrued the cccc will deal with giving due process to accused.
But lets not blame good defending or poor refs on unsavory incidents.
