id be suprised if he didnt come back for one more year.
If he wasnt going to commit surely he would have made his decision before his new arrivals in December.
For as long as he has been on the panel, he has never been used as an 'impact sub' (extrodinary when you think of it) i would be intrigued to see how this role would suit him in the summer. No need for him to come back until later in the league anyway.

If he comes back he won't be an impact sub he's still one of our best players we seen that against Tyrone if he does come back and I hope to god he does he'll be tapping over them points like we know Johnny can!!

If I was picking a team for the first round of the championship at this moment in time I'd hand Johnny the number 13 jersey for the 15 year in a row. I wouldn't even think about it.

He couldn't make a decision before the twins were born because he didn't know what impact the twins would have on his life and if it would be practical for him to make the commitment. If it's not practical, in terms of work, daycare, feeding, late nights and all the crap that goes with babies (multiplied by two), he won't be back. I'm hoping he will be though.

As a father of twins myself I would say it's virtually impossible to manage this and inter-county football and all that it brings, however it is Johnny and who is in my humble opinion the best Kildare player I've ever seen.
