Are country players allowed play 1st round of the league this weekend?

It will be interesting to see how many will actually play for their clubs though.

if they are all released they should all be playing for their clubs unless they are genuinely injured this crack of players deciding themselves not to play for their clubs shouldn't be tolerated anymore like what went on the last few years especially from players that don't even start regularly for the county team.

If players are released I have no doubt that club managers will play them. The first round of the championship is only 6 or 7 weeks away so i'm sure they will want to have some sort of plan. If I hear that senior players on the county panel putting pressure on other players not to play for the clubs again they should be banned

Whether it happened or not I don't know. Can it be proven as a fact? I doubt it.

To suggest they should be banned is laughable. Ultimately its the players themselves that make the decision, If a Senior or Junior player involved with Kildare makes a suggestion to them they still make the decision. They are grown men after all.

Its totally wrong to say that the players are available to clubs but then the same players are left under no illusion that they are not to play. We had this happen to us a number of times last year and it still counts as one of the agreed number of weekends that the players are made available to their club.

Jeasus that was some beating , are the Moores that good or are towers that bad . What's the chances of one of the oconnor boys playing with the lillies by all accounts there going well with the Moores and we need good forwards for the County team . Transfer time I think ........

Moorefield were very good but Towers are woeful. Jack O'Connor himself would have bagged a few goals against that Towers defence. I only stayed for the first half, it was a total mismatch.

Both county players played full games in the eadestown two mile house game. Well Bolton did until he was sent off for a black & yellow card.
