| Hopefully they'll blow up the stand and be done with it........ New Dressingrooms and a new stand seems to be on the cards but I wouldn't hold my breath!! Good news either way at least they are planning on improving the ground. | |

| A new stand or stadium isn't going to bring us any closer to bearing Dublin. What a waste of fucking time and money. All our resources should be pumped into getting fully qualified coaches into schools and clubs all over the county. Any capital spending you'd be far more beneficial in another Hawkfieldesque development perhaps in the north of the county.

| Last year when there was a challenge to the county chairman this forum largely wanted change. One of the major plusses was the new man wud ensure a revamp of Newbridge with priority being new dressing rooms. The man was going to be the king. It looks like it may be announced and now its a waste. If Dermo announced it what wud the feeling be? | |

| Smokey my feeling was the very same last year and the year before. We have far more important things to be spending money on than some fancy stadium. Conleths is a shit hole but it's fully functional. Meanwhile clubs and county teams struggle for pitches most of the year to even train on. Buy Greenfield sites and have pitches. Hire more GDA's to have in schools meaning kids have quality coaching. Don't plough money into a stadium that will only be at capacity once every two years if we are in Division 1 for when the dubs come. |

| Agenda for Monday's meeting is: 1. To receive a presentation on the future development of St Conleths Park, 2. To inform each club of pending developments in Coaching & Games including the recruitment of additional full time coaches for the County, 3. To review and discuss the findings of the recently completed Kildare GAA Demographic Report.
So it looks like we're getting some new coaches too umpire. | |

| All coaches are employed by the Leinster council and I'd say that who your club is has nothing to do with gaining employment with them. | |

| Ref St Conleths - hopefully the info produced for tonight will be interesting and good for Kildare GAA, one thing that I have wondered a few times has been why didn't we stick in one of the sets of floodlights from Hawkfield into Newbridge County Grounds? i know its not as simple as sticking a set of lights in with planning etc. but surely it is something that would be reasonable and usable | |

| True lilysavage yes knew about the residents but am unsure whether a planning application was even lodged.... hopefully that will be part of the plan for tonight at least if an application is lodged for something it is making an effort to develop | |

| Looks great. I see it is tight against the pitch sideline - making use of all available space.... Dressing room proposal looks well too. | |
