| If I recall correctly it was the top table who's votes got the format through at county board level, a majority of the clubs were happy with the previous format....32 games to get rid of 4 teams is a joke | |

| Reserve championship semi final celbridge v rathangan, the referee who was doing linesman ended up in hospital, I'm hearing this morning the refs are not going to referee from today on, this will stop all championships I'd say, | |

| I wasn't there but the Celbridge manager should be hit with the strongest possible suspension available to the CCC in Kildare. Has to be an absolute zero tolerance attitude to that behaviour. | |

If it happened as previously posted yes but from what I heard from people there it was nothing of the sort and I think there may be some dramatics involved

| JJ I was at the intermediate game and seen it happen at the steps beside me, he had 2 or 3 goes at the linesman, cover ups by the defending club won't happen, already 3 people are going as witnesses. | |

Iâll take your word young lad but heard there was nothing in it albeit it was unsavory. Heard official in question made most of it and had been far from an innocent party in the matter with sneering going on

| Jasus. Sounds bad. Well I would say it all depends on the refs report. I assume it's all recorded | |

| Was there last night. Watched last few minutes as allenwood Suncroft game was over as a contest. I'm no celbridge fan by any means but jaysus if that linesman went to hospital he should be done for wasting time. There was little/no contact what so ever and he was actually antagonizing the celbridge manager. I was talking to a fellow sash man who over heard the ref saying before the game 'i had to send 3 of these celbridge c*nts off in the hurling last week' and the linesman was referring to them as Dubs. Can't excuse behaviour but is it any wonder management feel aggrieved with this going on. Fair play to Rathangan however. Great victory. | |

| It will all depend on refs report. Celbridge manager may be hit with ban. Unless clubs put forward refs we may be hit with bad quality officials. It's our own fault | |

| What a GAA attitude. "The linesman that was assaulted clearly made the most of the head-butt."

| I think the attitude has to change toward officials its a thankless job and no matter what they do right or wrong they still will get abuse its just the attitude that players manager fans etc has. I have friends that ref in underage and adults game and some of the things that they say especially at underage games that go on. Some people should take a hard look in the mirror... | |

| Castledermot the story of an unremarkable SFC so far and a favourable draw getting Eadestown should see them to a QF. Always a very difficult team to play against.
Wouldn't be surprised to see Raheens beating Naas who are in real danger of dropping down. Crazy.
Very hard to call the winners of the IFC, a lot of teams very evenly matched. Monasterevin probably slight favorites at the moment. I think Kill will drop down, they're a very poor outfit.

| My choices at this stage are. Athy. Clogherinkoe and Ballymore. TMH and Kilcullen to be relegated.
I'm going for Moorefield. Castledermot. Confey and JTB to advance. At Intermediate I'm going.. Rathangan. Nurney. Kilcock and Ballyteague.

| I believe Towers were short 8 regulars v Clane due to the picnic. Looking at some of the junior results I think there might have been a similar story.
JTB V Carbury should be a cracker.
