Good draw I feel as both teams will be very raw and I would like to think we are stronger so hopefully we come through.

Fair play WhiteBridge. Here are dates for semi-finals and finals too. And the hurlers. Long, long shot but anyone know if any good this year? Some chance of a Leinster final in two codes?

Since 2009 Kildare have made Leinster Minor football final 7 times wining 4 of them losing 3 of them

The footballers are a good solid side. Kildare and Meath will be fancied to get to the final. Meath were very good against Dublin but having watched the game I couldn't believe how poor Dublin were. Meath will be (and have been) favourites to win Leinster.

Kildare were flying in March before the lockdown so hopefully they will hit the ground running after all the stops and starts of this season. They were only allowed back training collectively on Wednesday night so there's not much time to prepare but then again all counties are in the same boat. At this age group, the fact that Louth have already played a game should be an advantage for them but it's good to have home advantage.

No Sarsfields,  Celbridge or Moorefield Players in the starting 15, must be a while since that's happened.

Only 1 player from newbridge on panel he from sarsfields

Moorefield have 2 on Minor hurling panel

moorefield minor team was very average this year

Dont forget County is U17 so this is really the pick of next years club minor teams. Nice spread of clubs. Hopefully they will go well.

Yeah best of luck to the team and management... would be great to see some young talent emerge

Poor performance and result for the minors. Offaly thoroughly deserved the victory, Kildare getting a late goal to make it look a lot closer than it actually was.

Very poor. Use of the ball into forwards and carrying of ball into tackle was very bad.no off the shoulder runners. Offaly seemed better drilled and stronger. Thoroughly deserved. Kildare forwards very shy to pass

Disappointing alright. Very one dimensional with a kick out strategy that allowed Offaly to dominate.. some of the passing inside was absolutely aimless also. Poorly managed more than anything I’m afraid! Hopefully these lads progress with their clubs now and we might see one or two in the future!

Its very disappointing indeed.. Especially at Minor and u20 losing to Offaly and Laois, and not Dublin.. even more so as these grades are a more level playing field.. We can't be whingeing about financial advantages for Dublin, when we can't beat Offaly and Laois.
