Ah no not trying to have a cut at the rugby lads, some fine achievements, but sometimes I think the hype about them is a little out of proportion. Very good side, but failures on tour and at the world cup stop them from being truly great in my book. Like, I'm not expecting them to beat New Zealand or South Africa regularly given those countries' obsession with rugby, but a great side doesn't get absolutely slaughtered down there (and often up here) every time either. And Australia haven't got any greater a love for rugby union than Ireland, but they have got the better of us time and again as well. Not to mention France. And Argentina.
So when you boil it down, these superstars are better than England, Wales and Scotland (most of the time). Something to be proud of, but hardly makes them all-time legends, does it?
