did any hear that conway hurted his knee again reading reports on hoganstand . any truth in this ?

I heard he had to go off this evening Nurney v Rathangan and was in a bad way.

Hope to god its not true - but if its his cruciate again I fear for his footballing future.

def cartilage not too serious might be able play for nurney next match, massive loss yesterday goin off for nurney after 10 mins considering they were missing heffernan aswell and 5 other starters aswell.

well they stayed up last year without him and only lost to rathangan by a point so i wouldnt see them been in danger of going down at all.

Jerry Lawler - Class act is what's used to describe the likes of JD, Dermot & the country's other top players. Whilst he has shown some promise a few years ago. He's not in that calibre of players

missed heff for most championship matches last year too, despite what people might think clubs do have decent footballers apart from their county players and are used to playing without them most of the year, id say the biggest prob for clubs like nurney is not missing their county players but rather emigration.
andrew behan wont be back until late september so big loss for them.

Andrew Behan will be back next Tuesday from NY.

Nurney will survive in the Intermediate Championship, they have more players than Conway, Heff and Andrew Behan.

Brian Lacey has brought them on alot and I would love to see them with a full team for once.

I'd consider Conway a class act anyway. He's been fierce unlucky with injuries but if he's fully fit next year it'd be a big advantage to Kildare to have him available. Hope he makes a speedy recovery and best of luck to Nurney in the rest of the Intermediate championship.
