| Cribbin has no chance, he'll have one year played over there, he's never played senior football, he's 19 - Pearce Hanley didn't make the last one, he had played senior inter-county and had three or four years over there. He'll be making it this year though, absolutely no doubt about it. | |

| Cribbin is playing for Collingwood in the Victorian Football League at the moment - the equivalent of our inter-county Junior Championship. He was injured for a while during the middle of the summer but he's back in action now: http://www.collingwoodfc.com.au/newsfeatures/news/newsarticle/tabid/5586/newsid/121046/default.aspxThe lad has all the attributes to make it over there but Collingwood are one of the strongest teams down there so he will find it tough to break into their senior team no matter how good he is. They won their Championship last year and are favourites to do so again this year. As for the compromise rules, the less Kildare involvement the better. I'm sure the lads would love to represent Ireland but no one would like to see any of our county stars picking up an injury in what are essentially two exhibition games. | |

| Rob Kelly, Tomas O'Connor, Eamonn Callaghan & Emmet Bolton are involved in a panel of 30 currently preparing for the trip to Australia. Obviously, the All-Ireland semi-finalist/finalists have to be added too.
Don't know about Daryl/Mick, work might not allow them. I think James Kavanagh is getting married...

| he would hardly be picked on this years form even though he is one of our better distributers Thought Paidi o' neill might get a look in i think his style of play would suit the aussie series | |

I can see it now - no Kildare player picked - will it be a celebration or a moanfest?! Good summary on Cribbo, he's been back a couple of weeks now and according to the coach, is still a bit off the pace. He was amongst the best on ground (they name four or five on each team) a few times early in teh early, which is some testament to his athleticism and innate football ability (was gonna say 'natural' but that's a dirty word on this forum), given that he was learning a new code. Will be very hard to make it at Collingwood but on the other hand, it's an excellent place to learn the ropes

| Ogie, do you reckon he'll give it another year at least? Could the end of their next season (2012 I mean) be decision time for him? | |

| He's on a 2 year contract with Collingwood. I heard a rumour though that JTB are hoping to have him available for some part of the Intermediate Championship. Can you confirm White Bridge ? | |

| He's on a two-year contract, the normal season is almost up so he'll be home for a few months. Yeah, his aerobic fitness was very good, that time trial was a great way to introduce himself! So he'll do one more year anyway unless he decides he can't hack it. Presuming he sees it out, it'd be decision time then.
As for the Aussies ripping Mikey's knees apart, they don't kick, it's against their culture of manliness, which is why they went apeshit in 2006. It's also why Setanta Ó hAilpín got in trouble for kicking your man in the hole, after absolutely pulverising him with the best right cross I have ever seen.
