A bit of fun I know, but it goes to show just in how high esteem we hold Kieran, when he is eventually finished with Kildare I hope he has (further) success with the Orchard county, - no offence but I hope he doesn't go back to Armagh for a long long time, and only then to Armagh.

This craic of giving him another year is pure and utter bullshit.

I dont know P.Ashe, but his handling of this and one or 2 other issues within Kildare GAA sugest to me the job title he currently holds is too big for him.

I think we all know that, it's just a bit of fun to give out about Ashe... the fact that Geezer was away after the Down match is suitably ignored! In my mind, there was never a doubt that he should be offered another contract, but there was never a doubt that he WOULD be after Derry really - it's obviously a certainty when you get to a semi-final. I haven't stressed one iota about this. Apart from when I saw this thread starting up....

geezer wasnt away after the down game, for a fact. he was very disappointed and kept a low profile.he certainly wasnt away.it should have ben sorted before now.it shouldn have came down to sorting his future out during the club championship.a bit of foreward thinking or foresight wouldn go astary.
