| Jesus, hope he is okay. Sounds like he should be.
Fair play to Leper for his goal. The man is a class act, often under-rated within the county and nationwide in my opinion. Is he the first Kildare man to score a "6-pointer" in the Rules I wonder ?

| No, Jimmers scored two years ago.
Leper played really well, still don't like it as a sport though. Rules seem made up as they go along.
Hope Bolton is ok, As said it looked precautionary but you never know. Looking at the crowd there it seems this experiment may have run it's course.

| Jimmers scored one last year. Think Dermot might have kicked one in the past too.
Hopefully Emmet will be ok.
Could today's one sided result spell the end for the series? It lacks the 'competitiveness' of the 1980s

| Didnt Dermot get top scorer one year?? Not sure about a 6 pointer.
The one sided result will not spell the end, remember they beat us last year. The away team is always in a better position as they come together and stay together unlike the home team. Provided enough fans come to see the game it will be played. It is all about money.

Hope Bolton is ok, As said it looked precautionary but you never know. Looking at the crowd there it seems this experiment may have run it's course. i hate when people refer to it as the "experiment" - its the longest running experiment ive ever come accross. while i like the idea of players getting to represent their country in their chosen sport i do think the game has run its course, and i can see it being scrapped in the next couple of years. Lack of big name AFL = Lack of crowd = lack of commercial investment. It was set up as a money spinner by both governing bodies and once that element is gone it is easier to pull the plug. I'd prefer to see the GAA trying to promote games more in the states. Bring National League finals over and play it in one of the big stadia over there for example. With the amount of emmigration we have the level of interest in america id say would be far greater than what you get at NFL finals over here.
