| Jesus lads your GAS crew of merrymen , All the whinging and moaning about " others" getting to play in croker all the time and how unfair it is on the rest of the poor slobs that dont !! Your getting a chance for a early run out in HQ , and still your moaning YES I empatise with those in regards to costs , remember the spring series matches are Only €10 per game and there will be special family concessions per match if i recall €25 for two adults & two children My advice is to get the green Dublin Coach €10 rtn to the Red Cow 24hr service , hop on the Luas €4 return to Connolly Station , travel = €14 , so for €24 travel + match if travelling yourself Thats great value by far , where would you get it !! By Bus & Luas for a Family its €48 travel ( €20 for 2 adult + €12 for 2 children both return fares (Dublin Coach) €16 Luas €4 each x 4 return fare ) + family match tickets €25 = €73 , ok for some it may not be feasible or practical moneywise Perhap the car is the best option €20 petrol + €10 parking + family ticket €25 = €55 to go to croker to see 4 of the potential top guns for the 2012 championship is value for a Family!! So by car with 2 adults for €50 By car with a family of 2 adults & 2 children €55 , Your getting your kids in for a extra €5 I know its annoying and there is also the factor of only 2 home based fixture , I say give it a chance , it may catapult you to Div1 where you derserve to be !! To be honest Kildare will beat Tyrone in the league 2012 ,very confident you will, and croker will suit you to the ground to snatch this Your never ever be pleased no matter what way it rolls out | |

| Vodafone 2011
We are Kildare and we do not want to play our home league games in another county. We will play in Croker in the Leinster championship and AI as we always do. We are proud folk who will not be dictated by others to suit the needs of others.
In my opinion , the GAA got their wish in 2011 by ensuring that Dublin would win Sam by appointing the necessary referees to see out their plan. It's done now and good riddance to the GAA and Dublin and leave us alone.

we also reserve the right to give out about the disgrace that is St Conleth's Park and its ramshackle nature, and then give out when the Health & Safety crowd, who have been warning us for a few years now, finally put their foot down and impose a reduced capacity (again, as they have clearly said they would a couple of years ago).

| From Hoganstand:
With Dublin and Kerry already pencilled in to open next year's Allianz FL with Saturday evening tie at Croke Park, consideration is being given to playing Kildare and Tyrone's game as part of a double header.
The Lilywhites have home advantage against Mickey Harte's men in the opening round of league fixtures, but there have already been discussions about moving their Division 2 game to GAA headquarters and playing it before the repeat of this year's All-Ireland final between Dublin and Kerry.
Newbridge has seen its capacity reduced to 4,000 for championship games but it still has a higher capacity for league matches. Even so it is expected that Kildare might need to have ticket only admittance for a number of their games. |

| Dubs to feature in three Croker double-headers
24 November 2011
Dublin fans are gearing up for another 'Spring Series' next year after it was confirmed that their footballers will be involved in three attractive Croke Park double-headers.
Following the release of the GAA's 2012 master fixture list yesterday, it's now known that Pat Gilroy's side will open their NFL campaign against Kerry on the evening of Saturday, February 4 in what will be a repeat of this year's All-Ireland final. The game will be preceded by the NFL Division 2 meeting of Kildare and Tyrone, with the Lilywhites having agreed to give up home advantage.
The second Croke Park double-header on Sunday, March 11 will feature the Dublin footballers and hurlers. The footballers will take on Armagh, while the hurlers will be in action against Cork.
The final double-header will see the Dublin footballers facing Donegal and the hurlers up against Tipperary on Saturday, March 24.

Despite your geographical location in Kildare, your Maths is spot on Taibi. 2 home games. |

| Well the main thing here is obviously Kildare wanted this otherwise I don't think they would have agreed to it. It'll get them into the championship spirit early on.
If I remember correctly the price for tickets for the spring series last year was €45 so tickets will be in the €10 range. If you get the Gaa season ticket it's €70/75(adult) & €5 (kids) where you get all your league games and first round of championship and cheaper championship tickets on a pay as you go basis, well worth it, if going to all the games, IMO. Either way I can't see them charging more than €10 for it. So great value for money.

| Just checked season ticket prices, €75 (early bird adult) €85 (normal price) & €10 for juveniles. That's all your league games including semi finals and final if Kildare make it that far. €5 discount on championship matches for adults after first round. All Ireland club finals in junior, intermediate & senior in code. Good seats 304/305 cusack. Guaranteed all Ireland tickets if attended 60% of league and championship.
