| John Crofton has been confirmed as the Sash manager for 2012, has there been any other new appointments recently or are most clubs sticking with what they had this year. I know Sos has left Allenwood. | |

| I'd be fairly confident that 'someone' was mis-informed.
I'd be very surprised if they didn't give Enda at least one more year, especially seeing as he is taking the u21 team at the minute too.

| I think most of the Panel would like Sos back but that would mean some members of the Committee's and Sos having to issue a few apologises.
If only to bring the hunger and passion to training/matches that seemed to be missing in the championship(we were fine for all of 2010 and most of 2011)
As far as im aware Jack will be remaining on as Manager, apparently the Powers that be in Moorefield don't realise that he went for the Offaly job and as he wasnt good enough for them has decided to stay with us, basically as his second choice, which might not sit well with a few players.

| yea i`d imagine it wouldn`t sit too well with most players but as the year rolls in next year it will soon be forgotten and most players will row in behind him | |

| No doubt, im sure the players will have a point to prove next year no matter who is in charge.
Surprised that Sos was not considered for a county u-21 role considering he has more managerial experience than alan barry who appears to be getting the job again.

| Good appointment for sarsfields, im sure crofton will have plenty of new ideas for them and if they can get dermot back, with smith playing well again they have some good players for next year.
Ray Cahill, Caomighean Mcdonnell,Declan mckenna and sean campbell all under-21 this year, then dan nea and barry coffey, ciaran mcinerney-aspell and conor tiernan at the back.

| Straffan looking for a manager as well. I think they've under achieved since going intermediate. Some decent players there, they'd probably be underdogs come the latter stages of an intermediate championship but as we all know here anything is possible on a given day in Championship football.
I would say Chris will stick with the Cloghs. I thought he had them going as well as I've seen them in the last 7/ 8 years anyway.

| I heard that Sos was approached to be a selector with alan barry for next years u21's but he declined i'm told for the same reason that tom cribbon withdrew from the position, not getting full access to u21 players on senior panel to train with u21 panel............... | |

| The Sash have made a shrewd move in appointing Crofton this year. He's the first decent manager they've had since Courtney who I gather will be chairman out the next year. Best of luck to my old friend | |

| As per back of the Leader: Gilroy gone from Ballymore with Liam McLoughlin replacing. Eddie McCormack going in as Straffan manager.
I'd say McLoughlin will have Ballymore moving well. He's from that neck of the woods and would know a lot of them from Plunketts. Potential to cause an upset in the Senior Championship next year.
Straffan will be a good test for Eddie to begin his managerial career. He has a bit of experience with Kildare U - 21's. Good group of players in Straffan for him to work with. Interesting to see how he goes.
I think Straffan are to Intermediate Championship as Ballymore are to Senior. Both sides could probably beat any team in their respective grades on their day. Good luck to both of them.

Great idea. The Sash will be serious contenders next year. Should have been in semis were it not for a couple lads losing composure. Crofton, Earley getting back will be vital with the good batch of top talent coming through. Top class leaders.

| I think his name is Dobbins, Peter maybe but no doubt he will have them down to Athy boxing club before the turkey has settled, that seems to be his style, I think he may have won Junior championships with Grange and Castledermot, | |
