I see that Lillis and Kavanagh have taken over portlaois.Does that mean that Larries are looking for a new management team.If so who are the likely favorites for the job and what other clubs are out there looking for new managers

I would imagine a few clubs are on the look out. Have heard of 1 or 2 teams going with in house management but looking for a trainer.
Anyone know who is Available?
The managers ""expenses"" are going to be a big issue with a lot of clubs this year

I presume the expenses issue that transit man mentioned would mean some managers may have to head back to their own counties Barney Rock,Dessie Brennen and Jack Sheedy maybe???

I hear Brian Lacey has taken over Round Towers, who stated early on they would be appointing from in-house. Gippo Hyland is the new manager in Rathangan.

heard ex st kevins manager david murphy is new towers manager for upcoming year. also pat (stretch) winders has been appointed manager of robertstown for 2011. any other new managers/trainers for the year ahead....??

I thought that coaches employed by the Co. Board couldn't manage a Club team unless it was their own Club. How did David Murphy get around that one ???

I think that rule has been relaxed, as no county was paying any attention to it.
Even in Kildare, Noel Mooney was at Larries, and not Ellistown I think?
