| Heard this morning from a couple of the parents that travelled to the U-15 blitz in Dunnganny that the kildare development squad were playing, the behavior of the Dublin mentors on the side line was a disgrace.....the abuse that they were roaring at the referee and some of the kildare mentors and players was shocking, with a result that the referee booked a Dublin mentor and ordered another out of the pitch after a constant onslaught of abuse.....several players from Dublin were booked for striking off the the ball in there 2 games and referee had a hard time controlling these games. Good to see kildare winning at least one of there games and by all accounts leading the other one for long spells until the conceded 2 late goals, it must have been hard for players and mentors alike to control themselves with that sort of behavior going on......... Anybody else hear anything on these games..... Cill Dara Abu' | |

| Kildare u/16's play their Dublin counterparts in Hawkfield on Wednesday @ 7-45 in the Leinster final. Should be a great chance to see some lads pushing for a place on next years minors | |

The second game i saw a bad off the ball incident all right with a kildare played getting decked ,which really saw things getting heated ,but great to see right after this happened our lads fought tooth and nail for everything and kicked on and won the game.In fairness to Dublin in the first game things were tight till half time but a massive performance from the Dublin lads saw them kick on and win. This is a great bunch of kildare lads and full credit to them this season ,this was there first loss this year and would be quite capable of overturning that result on a different day ,fair play to all the mentors and keep up the great work .Best of luck to all the 16s tonight.

Well !! Some of the Towers Minor players of the last two years , of which the majority currently are still playing and will still be playing in 2013 have at last earned the right the hard way to represent there county This is compounded currently by the fact that none of them have even been accessed by any party from the past County minor management team , hopefully after contesting 3 finals in 6 weeks , somebody will stand up and Take notice !!! And still no recognition from the county media sages

OH jaysus , my blue naturally , but at the same tone would like to see our representatives play well also , which they did without doubt , it re enforces my view for next year , if these two lads don't make the minor county panel in some capacity , its rotten to the core , and with last years crew ratified for 2013 , i suspect nothing shall change !! i hope i will be proven wrong !! On the game , very scrappy , the referee was terrible for both sides , I am sure all will agree , it was a bluster night , but the Kildare team made the most of the conditions , both sides were very wasteful , and at times didn't gain a end result from a lot of hard graft , but in fairness Kildare did take there limited opportunities better than Dublin in the entire game , 1 score in the 2nd half is a poor reflection on both teams , overall Kildare did deserve the win , and congratulations to them From A Dublin point of view disappointing display , I wonder was that a full compliment of U/16 players with the Dublin Minor championship in full swing at the group stage this coming weekend , all team are playing there last group games of 3 on Saturday/Sunday , So i would suspect that clubs held back their players from clubs in close contention of reaching the next stage of the Dublin Minor championship , and that this Dublin team of representatives comprised of lads from clubs who may be eliminated or have no chance of reaching the next stage of the Minor Championship That's not to take away from a Progressive Kildare win , you can only play whats put in front of you , if this is a under strength Dublin side , well that's disrespecting the competition , but who in Kildare shall be complaining So well done young lillies !!! bravo

| Now vodafone you are pushing a point of view regarding the minor set up last year that's not all together factually correct, now I would hope it is because you don't know all the facts, 3-4 of you minor players were invited in for trials this year, only 2 turned up, one made the 17 panel the other didn't. as far as I am aware one of your best players was unavailable because he committed to soccer, that's hardly the fault of the minor management. Seamus I am very surprised at you because I know you witnessed first hand the extent the minor management went to trialling a huge number of players over a six week period early in the year, its disappoints me to see some like yourself who has an obvious knowledge of underage football in Kildare stirring shit for the sake of it With regard to tonight's game, it is always good to beat our city neighbours, we seem to be able to do it at this level all the time. One thing I do await is a dub one day coming out and saying, Jaysus that's a good Kildare team cause we were at full strength, will it ever happen vodafone ?? | |
