Saturday is good for me. Sunday would be a bit of a problem but nothing I couldn't get out of.

I'm annoyed that we play 2nd fiddle to Louth/Dublin plus it will probably be €30 plus a ticket.

Btw on a similar note I heard Ulster final was €18 for the terrace............

Ticket prices were a bit crazy for Derry at the weekend, €25 for stand, €20 for terrace.

Well worth the admission for the display we put on.

On today Fm there now they just said the likelihood is Satuday in Croker with Dublin /Louth

Exactly. I think its so unfair that Dublin are always there!!!! Its not their home ground! I just hope we put in a good performance and win

As far as I know, hurling 1/4 finals are on Sunday so if its picked for TV it'll be on Saturday for sure. RTE has 2 games on Saturday and TV3 has 1.

TV3 will pick the Dubs, RTE will then want Cork Limerick and then probably us. Don't think Down Sligo would be selected.

Saturday will suit us more than Monaghan I would imagine.

There was always going to be knocks, but i'm sure no one will want to miss Monaghan in Croker.

All going well,Grezzer will start the same 15 with smith going in for Tomas.
Think also rolli will keep his place,if not ken will start
Grezzer likes to keep faith with the lads,remember Emmet against louth,had bad game,everyone said was such a poor player ,now look at him.Outstanding

It's a game we're well capable of winning.

Winning is a habit and Kildare are in that groove now. We haven't lost a qualifier under McGeeney and the players' confidence should be sky high at the moment. Monaghan are a proud team and I'm certain there will be something of a backlash from them but they have a very tough week ahead. It will be hard for them to get that defeat out of their system and raise themselves again.

People will point to Kildare's schedule but apart from the drawn Antrim game - the other three games were well over by the final quarter and I don't think they'll have left the players too drained. If Kildare do lose, I doubt tiredness will be offered as an excuse.

Dermot's fitness is a concern but that man is an out and out warrior - he'll battle on through the pain. Dermot on one leg is still twice the player of most midfielders in the country.

Having watched the ulster final I was hoping to get Monaghan in the draw, I think we are better than Tyrone at winning the breaking ball around the middle of the park and won't give Monaghan half the posession they had in yesterdays game. Mcgeeney should give Kelly a man marker job on Freeman, he has the speed and tiger like tenacity in the tackle to nullify what is Monaghans only potent scoring option, with Freeman marked out of the game yesterday they were passing the ball around in circles, I am full of confidence and expecting to win by at least 7 points, hoping the game is in croker along with the louth v dub game, can't wait to be heading home to Kildare, down the quays with white flags flying and driving with a big smile on my face through a sea of broken hearted dubs, roll on the weekend..
