Rumour has it thats Monaghan want another day to recover and that the match may be in Navan on the Sunday as a stand alone fixture...

What you want and what you get are two different things, sure we have been on the road for weeks.

If Monaghan want it on the Sunday then we should look for the game to be played when it was set down for originally in the Calendar and that's Saturday.

I hope it's Saturday as I cant go Sunday. It's crazy that it's taking them so long to announce it today. if people need to make plans and get tickets for a match that could be just 5 days away they may make up their mind

If what you say is true then I fully expect us to get the short end of the stick as usual. Kildare teams have always been screwed over in the corriders of power when it comes to fixtures and appeals.

To hell with what Monaghan want, they lost so they should have no say. If we win over the weekend, do you think we'll get a week off. No, I didn't think so either even though that will be six weeks in a row.

Grow a pair Banty and get on with it. Kildare County Board can you please stick it to them for once.

For weeks the fixture list showed that all matches in round 4 of the qualifiers would be played on sat 24th july. I don't see why that should change now. This will be our 5th week in a row and whoever wins could have to playin a quarter final the followin saturday again. They may just make a decision now at this stage anyway.

on ticketmaster earlier it said tickets would be on sale soon for sligo v down on sunday at 3.30 but on the official gaa website it still says they're all on saturday

I'd actually prefer if this game was in Navan to be honest. I think Monaghan would find it easier to raise themselves for a game in Croke Park rather than another game at a provincial venue.

The Kildare players would also be well fired up to erase the memories of the Louth game at the same venue.

Just got a text from a Dub that we are in Croker next sat at 3 and the Dubs at 5.Not official but this Dub is usually right
