| Lets be honest trying to predict the outcome or a scoreline prediction of a Kildare match you'd want Christopher Lloyd and a DeLorean car. Nobody could have predicted an 11 point win over Derry, or Louth were going to rack up a score Kilkenny hurlers would have been proud of, by all means guys go ahead but don't be surprised you're way off the mark!. | |

| I think about 17 points will be needed to win this, whatever the make up. I'll throw my hat at 1-15 to 1-13 to the lilywhites | |

I just feel we're set up for a big fall sat, they have nothing to lose. There a hell of a better team than derry and i worry we're not giving them the respect they deserve. Also i'm even more worried about the fitness of earley, this is the one game we need him most because monaghon have good ball winners at midfield. i hope i'm wrong, ill gladly come on here sat night and say i was wrong if so.

| We carried one or 2 players against Derry (and same people against Antrim) and I'm sick to death of hearing "on his day he is the best in the country", well if their picked their day is here, no hiding places, 20 player effort. Shit or get off the pot.
Kildare to win by 4.

| He does have a point, Monagan should have had two goals against Tyrone but for 2 wonderful saves, Derry did open us up a couple of times but were wasteful.
We need to keep our feet on the ground and not get carried away, Monaghan cant possibly play that poorly again, we need to play for 70 minutes like our second half in Derry, Grimley will know that keeping Dermot down will go a long way to winning this game.
I' m worried, but then again I always am with Kildare................
I really badly want them to win this as this bunch of lads and McGeeney really deseve it.
I've got the butterflies already.........

| There’s a difference between us getting carried away here and the players getting carried away.
We are all spoofers, we talk because it’s our interest but we're not the ones playing and I can guarantee that after Louth, the Kildare players will know not to take anyone for granted this year.
Monaghan are by far and away the best team we have played this year and possibly, after Tyrone and Cork, the best team we have played in the last 3 years. They will be though and attempt to bully us, Kildare need to stand up to this and play on their mental mindset. We need to break the mould and get a good start; a few early scores will put the doubt back into Monaghan minds. If we let them settle into the game they will only grow in confidence.
Support needs to get out and show that we are right behind these lads; a win will lead to great excitement and great hope for the following week.

| Yep, we'll be looking at 6 in a row with a win on Saturday.
Will need some sort of bailout package for Kildare supporters if that happens!

I always find it's better going into a kildare game with no high hopes, been burnt from the highs too many times in the past. So hope to be pleasantly suprised don't care about the scoreline so long as we win by a point anything more is a bonus. Plus it is much more satisfying to win a close match than to run away with it.

| Is it that great?
Am I right in saying we've lost 8 of the last 9 times we've played in Croker?
Laois in '05, Offaly in '06, Meath and Donegal in '07, Wicklow and Cork in '08, Dublin and Tyrone last year.
We've only beaten Fermanagh there in 2008 and Wicklow and Westmeath in 2005.
It's not been our best ground to be honest

It's not been our best ground to be honest We had never won in Derry until last week. Statistics are there to be re written.
