Agree. Prefer playing in different pitches around the county, plus double headers = higher admission prices the whole time. Can't see it changing anytime soon though unfortunately.

| Personally it's a lot handier for me to get to games when they aren't all in newbridge. I always think it's an advantage if we take moorefield v confey for example one team has to travel 5 mins while the other has to travel 45. But then again as stated before the co board need the revenue. I wonder what the admission price will be, seems to get higher every year | |

| I went to leixlip confey game in Kilcock last year. Huge crowd at it and good atmosphere. Would love to see more games moved to club grounds | |

| I know my own club used to struggle to get officials, umpires, gate people, car park people, dressing rooms sorted etc when there were other championships games on nearby and sometimes when our own club were playing around the same time, that doesn't help.
I do think it is generally a more level playing field if the matches are played in Newbridge and Hawkfield though.

| Somebody has to pay for a week in Portugal. Understandable but not every single match should be played in Hawkfield. The ones where there is an obvious ground awaiting... Eadestown v Naas could be Sallins, Rathcoffey v Cappagh could be Kevins; Athy v Castledermot could be Laurences; Allenwood v Leixlip could be Clare. Could be other reasons too like insurance, medical amenities though most club grounds in Kildare veryou well kitted out these days. Shame they can't showcase this. | |

| Our club is rightly pissed and told the County Board don't come looking to play Senior E final when they will want 4 umpires, 2 linesmen and 5 people coming to watch it. | |

| Ask any club player where they would like to play their game and I'd say the majority would say St. Conleth's or Hawkfield. The pitch surface in Newbridge is one of the best in the country and the facilities and parking in Hawkfield make life so much easier. Both are ten minutes on the motorway from north and south of the county, hardly a big effort for supporters.
I see some clubs are now charging players €5 into league games. Was this sanctioned by the CB?

| Both are 10 mins on motorway? Takes me the guts of 45 mins from celbridge, I don't mind if othe team has to travel a distance to get there, but if you take moorefield confey or sash maynooth games I think it favours clubs based in newbridge. Most players I know love playing in clane, one of best pitches in the county. As far as I know for league games clubs are allowed to charge players 2 euro, well that's how it was 2 years ago. Predictions for the weekend? Il go us by 4, athy by 4, maynooth to put up the usual fight to sash but tire in last 10, naas +7, Cadbury jtb one score game either way, leixlip+4, moorefield + 2

| No one enjoys playin in conleths when its empty. i would well rather play at a good club ground where there might be a good atmosphere. imagine maynooth v sarsfields in clane? itd be packed out and its a great surface. | |

He reffereed the Celbridge Sars game last week and was very poor for both teams. He has to be the centre of attention in every game he's involved in.

| Disappointing to see Paddy Power are not taking bets on these games. Couldn't be arsed going into one of the local betting shops.
An acca of Kill, JTB and Leixlip would surely pay almost 3/1.
I think Rathangan could take TMH, they are a very ordinary team without Chris Healy.

Nor the previous weekend against Nurney. There was a falling out, apparently. Another county player who thinks club football is beneath him.
