is not shock Aylmer Gael and Eadestown beating Newbridge the clubs . Aylmer gaels lost to Nass by 5 points in league final . Eadestown finished third in league .sarsfields finished second and Moorefield bottom of Division 1 Minor League. If Clane win tonight means the top four in league are in semifinal of championship I agree, I wasn't suggesting that it was a shock based on the years form. Moorefield, and to a lesser extent Sarsfields, haven't a great record in the minor championship over the last 20 years or so. Good to see a couple of different teams involved at this stage.

| Jesus how have Leixlip gone back so far in 2 years? I know thei don’t fancy the current management but they have been well beat in every game they’ve played this year. Maybe intermediate will be good for them | |

| Difficult to see Leixlip beating Clane in the relegation final. They have very little penetration up front. Even allowing for the fact that they had a man sent off, not scoring from the 33rd minute for the remainder of the game against Eadestown doesn't bode well for them. That said Clane are not going well either. Their side seems to change a lot from week to week. Danny Egan & Cian O'Donoghue didn't start against Castledermot, I presume because of injuries but were introduced in the second half. However, if they can get enough ball into Brian McLoughlin they should have too much for Leixlip. One a separate note why can't Clane play by the numbers on the programme? Every week they've played in the Championship they've had at least 10+ players wearing the wrong numbers. Extremely annoying for spectators and for their opponents too I'd imagine ... or maybe that's the point!!! | |

| Yes I’d fully expect Leixlip to go down, might be a good thing for them.
Athy v Celbridge/Carbury semi. I was impressed with Athy tonight but Sash haven’t been right this year

| Seamus I haven’t been to a good Senior championship game yet. I know football is evolving but there has been a lack of intensity and urgency to the games i have been at. I know an empty county grounds can add to the dull atmosphere | |

Athy v Celbridge/Carbury semi. I was impressed with Athy tonight but Sash haven’t been right this year We're f****d. No two ways about it. The lack of competing in high grades at underage level has contributed to us being in the position that we are in. It's so disappointing - they sacrifice so much and have put as much effort into this season as any other team and yet can't get a performance together. We have dis-improved. I was hoping throughout each game that we would come out all guns blazing with a decent performance but alas it has not happened. We're mentally fragile at the moment and have been for sometime. I hope we've something left for Clane but it doesn't look like it. The danger Celbridgelad is if we drop we may struggle to come out of Intermediate.

| Would have thought there would be two week gap between yesterday's intermediate games and the semi Finals!
When is the final fixed for? Some teams will have played 4 weekends in a row come this weekend!

Not really. . Ok Nurney certainly did, but the other results were hardly shocks. JTB were chronic in the 2nd half after being 4 up at ht.. their better known Players went missing.

| Seniors winners will be out the following weekend in the 1st round of Leinster, no great help there from our county board and little or no celebration after the county final. | |

| Intersting the mix up with the semi final draws being made and KFM not notified.. Ger Mac seemed fairly peed off at the lack of communication from the CB. | |

| Not surprising at all. Monasterevin and nurney play 4 weeks in a row now. You wouldn’t even see that in the league.
