| Geezer will not go unless he is told to walk the plank. Where else would easy money through legitimate expenses come as good.
If he stays, hopefully not, he should be sat down by the CB and told to lessen his input to u21's and fixtures. He is here to manage one team in the county.
On that note the input of club kildare should be lessened also. Their purpose is to fundraise.

| lads come on, do you honestly think mcgeeney wanted the armagh job now. not a hope in hell, he is a young man who has set the bar high so hes not going to walk into a job where a team is donkey years behind his current one. there will be plenty more chances to manage them down the line. on this money crap the big cal, yes im sure he does get a nice few quid expenses out of it and as far as im concerned hes entitled to it but im sick of the mcgeeney has us broke brigade. you would swear he walked into your bedroom and took money from under your bed. | |

| Surely expenses like those mentioned must appear in the annual accounts? Is anybody in a position to display these? With all the cut backs a little clarity is called for as to where the money is actually going | |

| Any officer worth his salt would not be divulging such information in public. Does this same Person tell you what expences they claimed themselves? It would be interesting to see whats classed as an "official"?! | |

On that note the input of club kildare should be lessened also. Their purpose is to fundraise. A county board shouldn't have to sit a manager down and tell him that. It's a given. The county board decides, the county board makes the fixtures. The manager will fight his corner. If the county board is too weak, that's another issue.

| Sure if it was in the paper, you can relate what he said... unless it's libelous, in which case, deadly, a way for the Board to get some money!! | |

| Spillane would be better off writing about his own county and their prospects in the coming years because that Cork team are not going to go away any time soon and lets be honest the present Kerry team are miles behind it with little coming through themselves.
Cork in my opinion will dominate Munster for the next five years at least. I don't think Kerry will get near them in that time. When that happens we'll see if Spillane will be so interested in other Counties.
Before anyone mentions their minors, Tipp beat them twice this year in Munster yet tipp are out given no second chance and Kerry haviing been eaten twice are still there. Like the Leinster championship it's a farce. Beaten once, fine get another chance, beaten twice you should be packing your bags.

Wow, between this and the post on another thread, you are bitter, even for a long-suffering Kildare supporter... I was even beginning to wonder if you were a long supporting Cork supporter from the west of the county, such is your obvious bitterness and hatred towards Kerry, but had to knock that idea on the head when you suggested that Cork footballers could do something they've rarely managed in their history and dominate Munster for five years or more on the trot.

| Settle down there Ogie like a good chap. Now, bitter about what, point out exactly where the bitterness is. I'm a fan of Kerry football but the truth is they are going to struggle in the next few years when you compare the level they are at now to their expected levels and the media are going to make hay. Cork have a far superior team than Kerry at the moment, no one can argue any different. Is that going to change in the next five years when you compare the current Kerry squad and the Kerry underage teams and the Cork ones. The answer is no. If Cork played Kerry ten times in a row with the current personal then Cork would win 7. So it would be safe to predict that Cork will be the dominate team in Munster It's not rocket science. Maybe Kerry have some secret weapon up their sleeve, but they have new manager to come who will want to do things his way and now is the perfect time to build another great team. That won't happen overnight. Cork have their team built. As for Spillane, I doubt you were in the County in the Micko years in the 90's but any Kildare supporter who was will recall how he was disliked then for his comments. Nothing has changed since. Whether you like it or not it is my prerogative to dislike him.

He mustn't have been aware of our underage record at that stage.
