Flynn impresses McGeeney
08 May 2013
Daryl Flynn impressed Kildare manager Kieran McGeeney in his first outing for the county this year.
Flynn played for 35 minutes in Kildare's challenge win over Galway at Moorefield last weekend, having recovered from injury.
McGeeney admitted to the Leinster Leader that Flynn's performance was one of the highlights of the win over Galway as the Lilywhites continue their preparations for the Leinster championship.
"Daryl; I was very impressed with, that was his first 35 minutes of action all year with us and that was a big plus for us," stated McGeeney.
"The lads are back with their clubs and hopefully they will all be back with us on Monday for recovery night, hopefully no draws in the championship, with only three weeks to the Offaly game."
