| McNally and co all featured for JTB. I was surprised to say the least, but we have had a change in attitude this year under Ronan Quinn. Early Early Early days, but here's hoping its the start of decent run for us. Long overdue! | |

| Carbury were down a number of players the 3 o'Flahertys were away and have some senior players out injured so while Athy were good Carbury were very short. Good result from Leixlip the lads are buying into what Quinn is doing. | |

| I wouldn't be surprised if their are teams with lads away this weekend. Any one know if any of the games have been moved? | |

| There are some matches moved to Friday and Saturday. But the majority are still on Sunday at 4pm. | |

| You wouldn't think our senior leagues started last weekend by the coverage in the leinster leader newspaper.. I would have thought after the break the paper would be covering a few matches.. maybe they didn't get the fixture list. | |

| Fixing matches for easter sunday is absolutely ridiculous. We're meant to be promoting gaa. Making it easy for people to be involved. I also see a round of SFL fixed for the June bank holiday Monday! The majority of games are fixed for Sundays and I'm hearing that the senior hurling league is moving to Saturdays now with junior football leagues on Friday night!! Best of luck to all the small clubs with dual players!! Does anyone else think that the SFL could be fixed for Friday nights?? | |

| Naas v Sarsfields now on Manday at 11.00
Friday or Saturday evenings with suit most people involved much better than Sunday evenings, I know it is too late for this year but maybe it could be brought before congress next year that no senior league games take place after 12.00 on a Sunday morning, if the county board are insistent on fixing games for Sundays, they should definitely be Sunday mornings. That is just my opinion of course!

| Leixlip 1-9 0-7 Monasterevin. Difficult conditions but Monasterevin very well organised in defence. Any other scores | |

| Another big win for Athy last night. They are moving very well at the moment. Considering no county lads or county under 21s would have been available last night, they are developing a strong panel also. | |

ryve Every single year the same thing is said about Athy......and every single year they end up bottling it.

| Unfair to dismiss Athy as bottlers, they lost to very good Sarsfields and Moorefield teams in the last few years. If Feely had stayed around they probably would have won at least one more title, you saw what difference he has made at county level this year. He wasn't fully fit for last years final after missing the semi final and had only been back a few weeks from England. For what its worth Athy have more county players at the moment than either of the Newbridge clubs although that might change when the U21's come on board. | |

| Athy have less than Moorefield murof who currently have 7 county panellists. Sarsfields only have 2 but do have 7 involved with the 21s setup. | |

I was referring to likely starters not squad members topcat. I think the 3 Athy lads are fairly nailed on to start in May. Not sure how many Moorefield will start. And I did acknowledge that things could change after the U21's come on board. Sarsfields have some very fine players who I hope come through.

| Big win for Larries over Celbridge today, having watched Sarsfields play both teams in the past fortnight, I am very surprised at that result. | |
