| We'll have a strong U21 team this year and probably a good minor team again... Good to see. No let up til there's a senior breakthrough! | |

| Terrible - wonderful player, one of the outstanding Kildare underage players I've seen. Wishing him a speedy recovery. | |

| Murphy has a superb managerial record at underage level so very glad he's back, although I did feel the openness of the defence cost us big time last year. No sweeper, no extra cover - just a flat back six. Is a plague on Kildare teams at all levels. But he has done extremely well overall to be fair.
Anyone know if Campbell has much of a track record? Also, who's still underage from last year and any new players to look out for...

| Gay Campbell has been heavily involved in the development squads from the start... he's been selector/coach with the minors for at least the past four years and maybe more, served with Murph and Brendan Hackett. Knows what's coming through and offers good continuity. Fingers crossed. The hoor made a great full-length save from me in one of my last ever games of football, even though he is even older than me. Bastard. | |

| Well, we've been dominating at minor so Campbell clearly doing something right, sounds like a smart appointment.
Hoping for another underage trophy this year, I do think the potential is there... We have to keep pushing til it starts to translate to senior.

| Masterson and Jack Robinson will hopefully do their stuff this season.
Other names to look out for - O'Toole, Shaw, Archbold, Marnell, Ciaran Kelly, Brian McLoughlin, Matthew Kelly. Also, even if Rory Feely isn't playing senior, he should definitely be playing U21.
Jimmy Hyland a huge loss but we should still have a strong team.

| Today's match was good with a few standing out. I thought Jamie Flynn, Stephen Comerford and Cian Costigan in particular were good. Robinson too.
With a good few missing at the moment due to their involvement with the senior panel/colleges, it seemed to be a young panel today with many of last years minors on it.
Lots of great players though. Looking forward to seeing how they go in the championship this year (shame it's the last year of the U21 grade)

Shea Ryan was there on the sideline with the panel today anyway so he must be. As far as I know Ben McCormack is now overage.

| Hmm... We have a serious squad. A crying shame J Hyland isn't there. But still, serious potential. In a Leinster context anyway - the usual Kildare caveats etc. | |

All of the 2014 minor team listed in the op eligible for u21 this year. Dublin won the Leinster Final that year beating us 3-16 to 1-12 so they will be heavy favourites to win the province. Longford in the opening round will be tricky. We needed extra time to beat them in Pearse Park in that 2014 minor championship.
