| Like Wexford last night, Meath will be having a long bus ride home next Tuesday.
Kildare have too many options in all positions.

| No coverage of the u-17 championship in national papers that I can see. Hope they treat it with more respect next year. | |

| They did cover a tunnel bust up between Kerry and Cork in the Munster final.
And that's it. | |

Meath already beat Dublin I think, they are making a bigger effort at underage in recent years. We wont keep beating them every year. They are very jealous of our under age structures but deep down still think we only beat them because we are more athletic.

| Lads went up to Navan a few months ago with an experimental squad and lost to a full strength Meath by one point.
Sell your granny, get down to Paddy Powers, and thank me later.

Sell your granny, get down to Paddy Powers, and thank me later. That sounds like the same situation as the seniors v Galway in April. Our B team almost beat them in Salthill and our A team didn't turn up in Croke Park a week later. Nothing guaranteed with Kildare.

Thanks Archie. So 2+2=5 in this case! Not too far out. Barney is Paul's uncle.

| Meath full value for their win. Some of the match ups physically in our defence against their forwards was at times unfair. Smallest set of backs I've seen in a Kildare shirt. Hope they grow over the next year or they are going to struggle. Kildare came back into well but you never felt they could keep Meath out. They could do with practising their ball skills as they spilled and dropped the ball on multiple occasions. Like Sunday though just beaten by a better team. But they are young and can make up the difference if they want. | |
