| I just think even better sides at club level run out of road. Not saying won't be back, just think the well may need to refill for Moorefield and back next season. Going on results, but also tests. Athy big winners this weekend as only side in a game. Anyone know dates as home next weekend... | |

| October 5 - as I said, fully three weeks.
Hope Cloghs win IFC they have some very classy players. Jack Robinson is one of those stylish players like Lynch or Buckley I just enjoy watching him play.

| Sarsfields never looked like losing so not sure how much they would have gained. Athy were in the trenches today and Feely got serious game time under his belt too. Athy v Jtb was serious championship stuff in fairness to both teams. I'm terms of Ross Glavin looking at it with his Kildare hat on he must have been pleased to see Kelly on it. Sam Doran is another tidy AF player who stood out. | |

| Feely for me is the best footballer in Kildare. One hundred percent Athy have the ability but their tactics & decision making have let them down a bit in recent years. They are very close though.
Hopefully it’s a dry day & both teams go at it hammer & tongs... Has the potential to be a corker.

| Thought Niall Kelly excellent today. Danny O'Keefe and David Hyland also played well. Moorefield backs different kettle of fish. The 2 Flynns and Doran stand outs for JTB. | |

| I think the county winners won't be out in Leinster until probably 09 November so it would make sense to divide out the game time if possible | |

Interesting re scheduling - I don't know what's optimum. Obviously the All-Ireland had an impact and maybe other sporting events. I know there were four football quarter-finals in Waterford, starting Friday and the last was played at 7pm last night, Sunday night and it went to extra time. I know I'd definitely have preferred to be playing at noon Saturday.

| I’m convinced now after the seeing the weekend games that either Celbridge or Athy will win the Senior championship. They both seem to have that bit of grit in there teeth that has been missing this past few years | |

| It seems that we just cant help ourselves when it comes to letting ourselves down. We had a great PR opportunity to promote the draw for the Semi Finals for Football championships and what did we do. One Step forward and another giant leap backwards. For maybe the first time in the history of Kildare Gaa the draw was streamed live online in all its glory. Then using all the technology available we produce the following to complete the draw It just looked shabby and as stereotypical as you could possibly get. We need to up our game big time. If this is the best we can aspire to then we might as well pack up and go away. Surely our media partners could have stepped up and helped us stop making a show of ourselves. On the bright side, at least it wasn't as bad as the Wicklow Minor draw complete with canine friends and a slight of hand that would have Paul Daniels spinning in his grave. | |

| THAT! That is the kinda stuff that costs nothing. TK mentioned it, a mannequin top with no arms to launch a jersey too. Get a player on their lunch break and a local photographer. No online link that seems to work for Club Kildare. They need to do an early bird 2020 deal up online now and on county final day.

| You have to wonder what planet some people are living on... Anthony Moyles on OTB this morning saying it's up to others to catch Dublin etc etc. He goes, "Say you're Kildare, you should to go Intel with a business plan and outline where you want to be in five years."
It's actually a pretty good idea which will never happen, because as posters here have pointed out, we can't even organise jersey launches and championship draws.
Said it before on here but a lot of county boards around the country are like banana republics – all they're missing is the chairman addressing the crowds from the balcony in military regalia.
Our own board's website is terrible and the promotion of the championships patchy at best. Seems like no one in Kildare has ever heard of a podcast or audio-visual content.
And the likes of Moyles thinks we can get money out of multinationals... It's actually hilarious. The GAA around the country is in worse shape than anyone can imagine.

| Moyles was talking about an overall deal and more commercial partnerships.
Which should happen but won't because we don't innovate.
No one knows what the overall plan is... Is it to win Leinster in the next five years? An All Ireland in 10?
The problem is we don't have one. Which is why any corporation wouldn't go near us.

| What sort of containers should we use to make the draw with? Theres only 4 teams involved. It takes about a minute. Dont think we need Eric Cantona losing his marbles in order to sell it. | |

I pass along the side of the pitches every evening during my work and you can hardly see the grass with all the kids and older players !!! More luck to them.
