His strength, character and bravery displayed this evening will be remembered for a long long time.
Whether he or anyone close to him ever reads this is not here or there but I wanted to say he did his Father and County proud today. Like Dermot Earley against Antrim Kildare will always be grateful.
My condolences to him and his family.

I don't have the words to do justice to what Neil Flynn did today. I hope that he and his family take some comfort from todays events and the admiration and condolences of a county and from many many more around the country. What a tribute to his father. RIP Fergal and condolences to Neil and to the Flynn family

Very brave of Neil to make himself available to play in the first place. And then to come on a kick a couple of great points when we needed them was amazing. He did himself, his family and his county proud.
Condolences to him and his family.

What a brave young man - To come on for your county and kick 3 vital scores given the corcumstances was stunning.
RIP to the Flynn family on their loss - It must be such a tough time.

Hear, hear.
Neil is a legit hero and the comparison with Dermot is bang on.
I knew Fergal through the North Board. He was a gentleman, and a top GAA man and coach. IIRC he looked after a development squad or two in the pre-Brian Murphy era. RIP.
