jimmers had excellant game today they will caused some seniors teams problems in next year senior championship

well done ballymore!!

Ballymore are a very good team and must have a right chance in the final and even to go further.

Jimmers is obviously top class but they have a number of players who are playing out of their skin. Tadhg Grace always does well beside Kavanagh in midfield and Tommy Archibald has to be worth another look for Kildare in this kind of form but all their forward seem capable of scoring.

Is it true that one of the players flies back from Poland for each of the games?

Would be great to see the final in Ballymore's ground, what a day that would be for the town

Thanks Big Full Back I am. Between today and Rainbow's match yesterday it's been a great weekend. Still having matches to go to at this time of the year will shorten the Winter for us.

Yea William O Donoghue flies back from Poland for the matches.
He came on as a sub near the end of the match today.

Good point about the matches too, the final is on Dec 5th, Kildare's first game is on Jan 9th, not much of an off season at all, great for supporters but maybe not for Jimmers, hope he gets a good break at some stage early next year, after he has won a Leinster club medal though and maybe even an all-ireland!!

It's a savage level of dedication; but not one that would surprise me. It's one that most lads would do, you'd expect a lad to do that for the club once you're at the latter stages of a championship, the same with Rory O'Carroll for Kilmacud coming from France and Shorty coming back from Edinburgh every week last year... the two cases where it didn't happen in the one week in Kildare for county finals were exceptions, rather than the rule.

Re Timahoe, it was a complete lack of consistency of the rules to play it in Portlaoise, when Moorefield had to travel, regardless of who's on the management committee - anyway, hopefully Ballymore will win the final and then the All-Ireland final, and give O'Donoghue a massive reward for his dedication.

If anyone's wondering the final has been set for this Saturday in Ballymore at 2pm, weather permitting.

(e) Leinster Special Club J.H. Final on 5.12.2010 at Navan:
Wolfe Tones v Fingallians


These games are re-scheduled for the following weekend - day, times and venues will be confirmed on Monday morning.

The Ballymore vs Nobber match has now been fixed for Sunday 19th December in Ballymore

They'll be eating their Christmas dinner after the game at this rate.

By all accounts Nobber has been hit by the weather and cannot travel to BME while a couple of miles away the Navan races can go ahead. Is that bad luck or what..This is the type of sh1te that really annoys. Hope BME refuse to play in Jan and then give Nobber a right hiding

Yea the match was off today because Nobber wouldn't travel in the weather. Pity after all the effort that went in to getting the pitch ready for the match. Ya'd imagine if Navan races could go ahead Meath musn't be that bad.

Nobber manager said that he wouldn't play the game until James Kavanagh got back from Australia! What a lie I'd say. He knew well that the game would be refixed by the Leinster council without any consideration for Jimmers travel plans!
Leader had a picture of the roads in Nobber at the weekend - no snow at all, not even on the sides of the road. However the snow was too deep for them to travel! Scheming, cowardly Meath hoors...

Yea sure the leinster council wouldn't agree to delay it that long anyway.
the all ireland semis are meant to be on the 30th january as far as i know so that wouldn't have worked.

This is proof now of the bulging fixture lists that the GAA are trying to reduce. They don't want intercounty players suffering burnout yet you have club teams still playing and training into 2011....

We have cause to blame Leinster Council for a lot, but the fucking snow is one thing they have no control over

why are ballymore and kildare matches on same day

I heard he was in Australia? he wouldn't be allowed in the Kildare squad anyway with Ballymore in the all irelands

Yea it's a pity that the 2 matches will be on the same day alright as a good few people would go to both if they didn't clash. Yea James is in Australia at the moment alright
