| Lily4life you definatly did lose track of the score. Kildare won by a point. Tommie Archibald was on fire full forward. | |

| There shouldn't be any negativity about this Ballymore team even without Kavanagh, who surely was the best ireland in this championship towards the end of last year.
They aren't a one man team and Tommy Archbald will surely be called up to the Kildare junor team once they are finished. John Doyle, Tadhg Grace and Eoin Kavanagh would have good claims too.
Nobber's time on Celebrity Bainesteoir was shown on rte again over christmas, even from those clips it was obvious that EVERYTHING they do goes through Brian Farrell. I'd imagine that Colin Clarke would have been the man who have marked him so he could turn out to be a bigger loss than Kavanagh actually. But If ballymore can keep him quiet, even if it is only to keep him to 5 or 6 points, they have a great chance.

| Don't know where the one point defeat is coming from! AFAIK Kildare juniors won at a canter, score would have been higher but for dreadful weather. But thats only to be expected, Ballymore are an intermediate team.
Think Ballymore lost another player last night to a knee injury - Peter Lawlor. Must have been the night for Peter's to be doing their knees...
They'll be seriously up against it in the final but best of luck to them.

| Well I was there. Don't know what the score was but the juniors won well and played with the gale force wind for just 25 mins while Ballymore played with it for 50 mins (There were three 25 minute thirds). To give an indication of how bad the wind was I don't think Ballymore scored at all when playing against it.
Maybe the Ballymore lads were told they only lost by a point in the end in order to keep morale up, but afraid no where near it!!

| Yea the 2 of the half forwards got injured the other night. Lawler with a broken bone in his knee and Dwyer with a dislocated shoulder. Between that and the other 2 lads away we're going to be up against it but if we can mind Brian Farrell we could still win it.

| Walsheman I'll take it your being pedantic!
Ye Tommy pointless debate, I was just stating what actually happened but am being corrected by people who weren't there.
Howdoyoudo - maybe you haven't been to many matches in your life but when a team is well on top you can kinda just tell. I use a special sense I have - its called sight! I look at how one team is dominating the other and scoring freely...

| odds probably due to the fact that they are missing 4 starters from the last match: full back, midfielder(kavanagh) and their 2 wing forwards are injured after the friendly match on tuesday. Any odds on nobber, surely a shorter price now??? | |
