With the way they're losing players they could do with that visitor; cause it's starting to look like Jarlath could be dusting off the boots. Seriously though best of luck to Ballymore. It would be great if you could win.

| Great stuff Ballymore, there was a great roar in Newbridge when the result came through.
I bet the Nobber boys got some shock when Jimmers trotted out. Class.

| Well done Ballymore!
Heard Tommy Archibald went off injured again. Poor lad has had a terrible run of luck with injuries.

| Delighted for them and well done Jimmers, but I'd have expected nothing else and he obviously told them he'd be home... it's the club... of course not every lad would do it as we've seen already this year on a couple of occasions but when you spend so much time with the county and miss nothing to be involved in the county, and then your club, from a small parish, are in a Leinster final, not a semi-final or quarter-final, I'd just be amazed that a lad wouldn't play. It might never happen ever again. And fair play to Jimmers, he knew that. | |

| Great result yesterday, well done to all involved with Ballymore and great credit to Jimmers for making such an effort to be back for the game.
With Maynooth winning last year and Confey in '06 its now three Leinster winners for Kildare in the last five years. Hopefully Ballymore can go a step further and get to the All Ireland final, be a great way to start the year for Kildare football.

| Thanks lads. It was a brilliant day for the club. Huge credit goes to James alright for coming all the way back for the match and heading off again this morning. Yea Tommie Archbold's unfortunate with injuries alright. He had to go off in the first half with a dislocated shoulder. Not sure how long he'll be out for now.
The semi final is on the 30th January against Lisnaskea (Fermanagh) most likely in Navan.
