| Fair play to the dubs. Totally deserved this victory. Sickened by the thuggery of some of the Kilkenny players.. This could be a very interesting championship this year, 3 teams in with a serious chance - Tipp, Kilkenny and the dubs.

left out Galway there... Canning and Hayes will be back - Canning looked good in first game back at end of the league. He has a point to prove after a bad year and will make sure his physical conditioning is better this year. Kilkenny have five or six to come back in but Tipp remain the favourites. | |

17,000 of them there for the u21 game  , but nonetheless I was talking about the "dubs" who live around me who were non too interested in the game. Im really looking forward to how Kilkenny will react to this beating. I see Jackie Tyrrell says it is the worst performance he was ever involved with Kilkenny, they didnt appear to have any answer to the dubs apart from violence. Its the first time for years that im excited about the hurling championship. | |
