good win for the dubs, some well taken goals. Standard of football very high. Are they the best team in All ireland at the moment?

Mayo were saying the same thing this time last year.....and look what happened to them!! League form is topsy turvey at this time of the year, due to the heavy training etc....so hard to read too much into it..

how many teams have won the league and went onto win the sam the same year. think its 4 out of the last 5 have won it. cork most recently last year. the days of using the league as a competition for trying lads out is over. its a competition for for setting standards and getting momentum going and settling down a regular team.

Vodafone I say most of us here have a parent/parents who are blow ins, however we have integrated into the community and dont go around mouthing off all the time. However stop getting this notion that the blowins from Dublin are improving the standard of football in Kildare sure you have a population of over 1.2m and cant buy an All Ireland yourselves. Hurling in Kildare is overshaowed by Football, Horse racing and Rugby, its a problem and will take years to rectify, if ever.

a population of over 1.2m. most of them to be fair are blow ins to dublin who cant get work in there native counties. kildare probabaly being one of them. just look at kilmacud crokes winning leinster with 4 or 5 lads from other counties. we have got 3 or 4 lads come into our club in the past few years and to me they have improved our panel and made competition for places that bit harder,.
