After fretting over this all night, the worst news we could expect looks like its true.

While this is a massive blow we have to realise at the end of the day it is only one player (Tho an unbelievable player)

People said we could nt go on without Dermot but we are

In 98, when Nuxer didnt lineout it looked like curtains for us, but young Earley setted up to the mantle.

There are plenty of players on the team who are capbale to make the step up and now is the time.

Got a text this a few minutes ago that the indo are saying that JD and Lynch are both "Injury Concerns".

Yeah, but at least we didn't spill it in here and rightly so IMO

These injuries are a concern now to say the least, Hopefully they are not to bad.

Lads if we still get a half hour out of him I wouldnt still be unduly worried. I think we need to prove we can win games without JD and I still would be confident of beating them in the first half without JD and what a bench we would have with the likes on Conway,Smith,Jimmers maybe and of course JD too if rumours are to be believed. I think we are good enough to beat Meath but lets see if we can get any more info first.

Its only 3 lines at the end of the article staying something about Bolton and that Doyle took a knock in training and that Lynch didnt take part.

Wouldn't worry about lynch,as all the hard training is now over,and think he will be fine.Bolton too will be fine.

agreed its not unusual for players to miss out on a training session if they are carrying a slight knock

On lynch it said he did not train? Does anybody know if he was there and just didnt take part or did he just miss the training session?
