Subs: D McCaul for Carlin, O Mulligan for Penrose, K Coney for Donnelly, S McNulty for McGuigan.
Lads in bold will all be starters or pushing to start come Championship time.Enda McGinley, McMahon brothers, McMenamin all missing but they are fielding very strong teams at the moment. Enda McGinley retired a few weeks back.

| I don't see people's problem with trying out Eoin O'Flaherty at wing back, he's scored around 6 or 7 points I think in two games granted against sub standard opposition but surely it's worth a look at now rather than later in the year.
Come summer we'll have Doyle back in the forwards, Callaghan, Kavanagh, O'Connor. And loads of other options.
Things mcgeeney probably took from last year were, need more scores from half back line & midfield, need more goals & finally need to take more scores from chances created. This year we need to be winning games regardless of ref's. Successful teams make there own luck.
Dublin Sunday is a chance to be the first team to beat the AI champs. But it's not A big thing if we win or lose, it's about learning things u can use come summer time.

- There's no doubt that the GAA strongly felt that Dublin needed to win Sam last year. They obviously felt that it was important to keep gaelic football in a healthy state in the city due to the competition from soccer (euro 2012 ) and rugby ( leinster heineken success ). Its unlikely this year that they will get the same treatment from refs, who surely have enough integrity to realise that a game must be refereed fairly regardless of who is playing, It will be interesting to see will any county get the same ref for 4 games this year.
you forget about the goal meath got that should have stood last year don't be a muppet blaming the ref when did kildare last win sam is the ref to blame for all those years not winning sam

| Glad to see that team named. These young pups aren't ready yet - let them learn the trade with the U/21's & hone the skills for senior. I don't expect anything from this game, it will have no bearing whatsoever on the championship. Here's hoping the lads can be as competitive as recent weeks | |

What are you worried about carburyman? JD played no part in the O'Byrne Cup last year and I doubt he will this year either. He won't be involved on Sunday according to the manager, because his daughter is being christened... Bolton is injured but is training. Mick Foley & Aindriu MacLochlainn are both back in training but won't be seeing game-time this weekend.

| Fone - they are all Ireland champions and as such will get the guard of honour they deserve on entering the pitch on Sunday / I, for one will show my respect for the All Ireland champions / and will expect the same courtesy in 2013 / when we play Dublin in Croker as newly promoted league 1 All Ireland champions bring it | |

| Do they get a "guard of honour" before every match this year??
Carlow gave them one is that not enough?
If we have to give them on the whole panel including McGeeney should be made do it and see what's before them if the have the required hunger in 2012. |

I think so in the O/B & League only , maybe the odd friendly they play ,its tradition , and yes the whole panel is expected to line up and pay hommage , " Ceremonial acknowledgment by a vassal of allegiance to there lords under feudal law"

Thats a bit ambitious , some would say in the catogory of folie, a more likely schizothymia or psychoneurotic , but hey we all live in hope only pulling your leg , the likelihood of this happening is ever so increasing with there dedication to the cause, but i wouldnt stake my house with Paddy Power or Boyle Sports.

| sorry Rex In truth the winners of the Meath/DCU match have home adv , so it will be Navan or Parnell more than likely nominated by DCU , the winners of the Kil v Dub will be deemed the away team for the final So the final more than likely in Parnell Park then one way or another http://leinster.gaa.ie/fixtures/obyrnecup.aspcheck the leinster gaa website | |

| The colleges don't get 'home advantage' AFAIK. I certainly can't ever recall playing one of the colleges in anywhere other than Newbridge in this competition. | |
